Not to state the obvious, but I thought this was a story about US churches because the liberalization of many “mainstream” evangelical denominations has been shocking.
That’s what they’ve done to all our other institutions.
Their “long march through the institutions” is all but over. After the churches, there’s nothing left for them to conquer.
Antonio Gramsci was a genius.
So 2 things on this thread will change soon:
1)the same headline but adding “in the US” and 2) the date on top will be next year. God protect us.
PCUSA went to Hell when this happened to it. Same for several colleges like Notre Dame
Never mind about China. Its happening in the good ole USA only on a much worse scale.
Same process in America.
They’d do a better job of running the United Methodist Church, than the proggies in charge of it right now.
I don’t blame the commies, atheists and infiltrators — in China, or here — that is what they do.

As night follows day. This Pope has given Xi the go ahead to manage the Church in China and subordinate God/Jesus Christ to the Communist Party of China. Drek flows outward to the Protestant sects, too.
that is exactly how the homosexual community took over American churches.
That’s how the Nazis took over the German churches...
It was less than a year ago that I read how fast Christianity was making inroads in Chinese society but I remained skeptical. Communism is the greatest enemy of Christianity and will always remain so.

It would be a good idea to check the corporation laws in your state and see whether there is any provision for the state to send a representative, or a court to assign an outside representative to corporate business meetings. Corporations are creatures of the state.
If anyone wants to spread the Word in China, here is a great charity that gives huge bang for the buck. Probably one soul won for every dollar provided.
Same thing has been happening here.
Fortunately, there is some long-established, well organized, and well funded resistance:
“The Institute on Religion and Democracy is an American Christian conservative think tank that promotes its views among mainline Protestant churches, as well as advocating for its values in the public square”

When do they move on Hong Kong? I haven’t heard any news but I expect they will.
