Sheriff’s office has received threatening calls from people 'picking sides' over the incident
A white couple was arrested after at least one handgun was pulled on a black woman and her daughters during a videotaped confrontation in a restaurant parking lot in Michigan, authorities said Thursday.
Jillian Wuestenberg, 32, and Eric Wuestenberg, 42, were charged with felonious assault over the Wednesday incident, Oakland County Prosecutor Jessica Cooper said.
The confrontation was captured on cellphone video.
Takelia Hill, who is black, told the Detroit Free Press that her daughter asked Wuestenberg to apologize after she bumped into her outside of a Chipotle in Orion Township, about 40 miles outside of Detroit, but Wuestenberg instead started to yell at her.
The video shows Wuestenberg get in her car after the tense back-and-forth that included accusations of racism. Her husband, who was still outside the car, says, “Who the f---do you think you guys are?" to the family. One of the girls accuses him of being “racist” and “ignorant" and he walks back to the car.
“You can not just go around calling white people racist,” Jillian Wuestenberg says from the passenger seat. “White people aren't racist…I care about you.”

Without a doubt, the pregnant woman and her husband were being threatened. Just trying to figure out why she was charged... The only thing I can think of, is that she retreated when she got in the car and closed the window. Then, when the other woman began banging on the car, she got back out of the car with the gun. Maybe that's considered self-defense in that state, just not in mine.
I agree; She should have never pulled the handgun if she wasn’t going to use it, and there wasn’t enough threat to use it.
(If the wretched welfare mom still refused to get out of the way, pepper spray would have been nice ;^) )
I would suggest to call the LE, but in this day and time, I don’t know the outcome of that one :/
Depending on the county, calling the Sheriff’s Office would have been a better choice than city cops anyway.
(She did have a halfway decent stance though, looked about 1/2 Weaver).
Agree 100%. Call the cops and stay in your car...after you drive away a little. She most CERTAINLY had better stance and trigger control than Karen from St Louis...lol.

when the woman smacked the car- she committed a crime- another crime actually- and the woman in the car had had enough- she decided to defend herself and her property-
Just like the fella that tried to retreat but was attacked anyways- who pulled his gun and shot the maggot that assaulted him- had the black woman simply let the vehicle leave- nothing would have happened- the white family was leaving- retreating-
When the black woman hit the vehicle- she e3scalated the situation even further- possibly having caused property damage now- which gave the woman i n the car every right to defend her property at that point- Actually she had a right to defend herself against the black woman’s menacing and threats/assaults before that- but she resisted- and tried to leave-
Make no mistake- the black woman escalated everything- the black woman committed crimes against the white family- This white family was just trying to get to their car and leave- the black family would not let that happen-

As i said in last post:
Make no mistake- the black woman escalated everything- the black woman committed crimes against the white family- This white family was just trying to get to their car and leave peacefully- the black family would not let that happen- The black family are the criminals here- not the white pregnant woman who stood her ground in a stand your ground state-
A well-timed opening of the drivers door would have sent her sprawling and if it’s really well timed you could knock her out running into the edge of the door. “I’m so sorry officer, she seemed upset and wanting to talk, I have no idea why she ran into the car door.”
If I were on the jury, I would vote not guilty, based on that video alone.
But, the law might see things differently. That’s all I’m trying to say. Otherwise, what’s the basis for the charges? Maybe the charges will be dropped later.

No i understand- I believe though the stand your ground law in the state gave them the right to defend themselves as soon as the black woman began menacing- and threatening- , but the white woman did try to retreat- and did apologize to try to diffuse the situation (which is impossible when an ‘Faux aggrieved’ person is hell bent on making a scene)
I’ll be surprised if the charges are dropped against the white family- but i hope they are- -
Even the daughters were pleading to the mother for her to stop or back up. It’s obvious even they thought she was the aggressor. Screwed up!!!
I warm wife to just walk away from any angry black person, don’t say a word.
I am starting to think you need to install cameras in your car that gives you 360 degree coverage for the road attacks. You might need body cams also.
You have a group of people who go out and get white people to react. Once the victim reacts they put it out on social media to the person fired or business shut down.
Has anyone identified the black ladies in the video? Maybe it is time to shine the spot light on them.
