When the Indians did a protest on Mount Rushmore I dont think they tried to damage it.

Antfi and Black lives matter will try to destroy it
They may not have tried but radical Indian activists, who sound every but as radical as BLM in words if not actions (most actions, they did try to stop keystone pipeline), definitely do want to destroy it. I doubt those kooks speak for most Indians, who probably appreciate the tourist dollars coming into SD.
