A piece published by Time raised eyebrows after calling for a cultural reckoning of how superheroes are depicted amid the national dialogue that has cracked down on how TV shows and films portray police and law enforcement.
Time writer Eliana Dockterman began the piece -- titled "We're Re-examining How We Portray Cops Onscreen. Now It's Time to Talk About Superheroes" -- by noting the recent cancellations of "Cops" and "Live PD" following the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis, and how even "Paw Patrol" has become a target.
"But as we engage in this long overdue conversation about law enforcement, its high time we also talk about the most popular characters in film, the ones who decide the parameters of justice and often enact them with violence: superheroes," Dockterman wrote Monday.
She described superheroes as "cops with capes who enact justice with their powers" who are usually "straight, white men who either function as an extension of a broken U.S. justice system or as vigilantes without any checks on their powers."

Not to worry. The SJWs have infested the comic book industry and are well on their way to destroying it. I present as Exhibit A, Marvels superheroes "Snowflake and Safespace" (and no, I'm not making this sh*t up).

Already happening. Many white male superheroes have been or will be converted to non-white males, rather than simply creating new characters that aren't white males. Even though it is fictional history, it is still all about wiping out white male authority.

if you look at the video of the lawyer couple defending their property, one of the looters has a clown mask like the guy in the purge... it is hard to see cause it is only on for a second at the beginning

The couple should have worn masks too. Can’t see fear.

Superman dont do colonoscopy. How many doctors have lost fingers trying to do the prostate exam during Superman's annual physical?
I never was much of a comic book fan (in my youth I preferred magazines satirizing popular culture and entertainment along with investigating conflicts in international espionage), but wasn't the whole Marvel Civil War topic dealing with this stuff?
