U.S. Senate: Republican: Mitch McConnell (342,967) 82.79%, rest went to 6 other opponents in single digits

Democrat: Amy McGrath (247,037) 45.41%, Charles Booker (231,888) 42.62% - rest split among other candidates in single digits

U.S. House District 4: Republican: Thomas Massie (68,590) 81% Todd McMurty (16,091) 19%

Special Election State Senate: Karen Berg (DEM) 57% Bill Ferko (REP) 43%

DEM GAIN - GOP Senator resigned to open this seat. Likely harmed by the fact that there was a heavily contested primary for U.S. Senate on the Dem side which was not the case for the Senate here.

Yea KY went for Trump handily in 2016 but our two largest cities, Louisville (my hometown) and Lexington are solid Dem and have been since I can remember (while Lexington’s current mayor is a Repub, she’s the first since 1974. Don’t get me started on Louisville’s current mayor, I’ll get banned if I say what I really think of him) The libs on the Louisville subreddit are for the most part suuuuuuuuper pissed about Booker losing.

Voting was an absolute shit show here. Our Dem Gov kept pushing the mail in ballots plus they opened up early voting in the ONE polling place in all of Jefferson County (where Louisville is located) Can’t begin to imagine what Nov is gonna look like here.

The GOP MASSIVELY narrowed the primary voting gap since 2016.

229667 votes were cast in the Contested 2016 GOP primary.
454573 votes were cast in the Contested 2016 Rat primary.
That’s 225k Rat advantage.

This year?
537000 Rat votes in a contested primary.
409000 GOP votes in an uncontested primary.
Rat advantage down to 128k

The GOP literally cut 100K off the Rat primary advantage and people are calling that bad??????????

Crazy eyes big spender Paducah mayor got kicked out in Paducah. People must want working sewers more than a fancy new aquatic center. Runoff between somewhat conservative (but rather vague) businessman and somewhat conservative (and generally sensible) black member of City Commission in Nov.

Agreed. The numbers for primaries offer only some insight into what will happen in November. The drastic increase in GOP turnout in this primary over the last one does show enthusiam.
