Memorandum on Enthusiasm (Discussing Polling and Comparing Enthusiasm for Trump vs. Biden
Trump Pence 2020 Relection Campaign ^

| This memorandum lays out two important sets of facts as we head toward the home stretch of the 2020 campaign for president. |
 |
- There's clear and irrefutable evidence that Joe Bidens candidacy has a decided lack of enthusiastic support as compared to President Trump.
- Public polling on which the media relies is based on cheaper, inferior methods. It should rightly be viewed as flawed and non-predictive.
- President Trump has received more votes than Obama in 23 of the 27 states which have held primaries in both 2020 and 2012.
- By contrast, in primary after primary, an alarming number of Democrat voters have cast votes for others on the ballot, instead of the partys presumed nominee, Joe Biden.

in primary after primary, an alarming number of Democrat voters have cast votes for others on the ballot, instead of the partys presumed nominee, Joe Biden. About one third of Dems don't vote for or support Biden. That's a large number. Yet something like93% of Trumps Republican base support him. AND, that's before Biden drools on stage at the debates.

This memorandum was published today on Brad Parscale’s Twitter account.
It’s a very tight memorandum laying out the facts and it includes a wonderful table explaining the key differences between public polling and private polling.
That table alone is a keeper.

The ONLY people these days who would answer a call from a strange number and talk to a pollster are “Karens” delighted they were “chosen” to participate in this “important” and “meaningful” exercise. After which they will brag about it endlessly to anyone who will listen.

Indeed. I have no idea how, but Joe Biden got my phone number and I get texts from him every day — often twice a day. He thinks my name is “Sharon”.
The tone of these texts is clearly aimed at the type of person you indicate. “Sharon! Joe was asking about you. It seems you haven’t made your monthly contribution to stop Donald Trump! We’re all busy but Joe suggested I reach out to you to remind you that we’re all in this together!”
I suppose some people receive a text like that and actually feel the love from Joe. The faceless marketers of the 21st century know why sort of tone works on weak-minded fools.

In my best-case scenario, the libs roll back some of the support Trump was getting among minorities but get murdered in a high-turnout election by the moderates who by now are damned scared.

Enthusiasm will need to be sky high with enough votes for President Trump to overcome the voter fraud in the swing counties. We can be sure that the ‘rats are already printing votes for Biden in Broward County and others like it who ‘rats in charge of voting procedures across the country.
The ‘rats are ready this time because they now know President Trump can win - last election they were caught off guard. It won’t happen again.

oops - should say “who have ‘rats in charge...”

I've been periodically reporting to Liz an simple analysis of the DU website.
What I do is simply go to the high to low "Most Discussed" threads page, and see the significance of threads discussing Joe Biden.
This morning I found only 8 of 160 thread headlines (5%) mentioned Biden's name. And here are those headlines:
- Trump wants a new nickname for Biden. -- 46 comments
- If Trump drops out, hypothetical, who would the GOPers get to run against Biden? -- 36 comments (A common theme today: Trump is going to quit the race :- ) )
- What would be some of the most damaging sanctions a Pres Biden could place on Russia -- 15 comments (Referring to the NYTimes alleged conspiracy by Putin)
- WaPo: The woman Biden isnt considering for VP but should (Rep. Barbara Lee) -- 14 comments
- Little Donnie sounds very worried about the Biden campaign's ads about him.-- 12 comments
- Bernie's student army: "with great rage towards the Democratic establishment, I will vote for Biden" -- 12 comments (Does this sound like Bernie Bros enthusiasm for Sleepy Joe?)
- Take down this threat to Joe Biden immediately Twitter -- 12 comments (Trump saying "Biden is totally shot")
- Trump re-election strategy: Biden to do away with 'law and order', is insider, lacks mental capacity -- 10 comments (Ha,ha. Thanks DU for reinforcing Trump's message!)
Now this is the Democrat party faithful. Notice not a single one of these threads is about something positive that Biden did, said, or stands for.
If they have a decided lack of enthusiasm for Biden, the only thing they have going for them is a consuming hatred of President Trump.

Agree, we can’t be too confident.
Here’s an idea. Let’s have a “crawl over broken glass” contest between Trump and Biden supporters!

Notice not a single one of these threads is about something positive that Biden did, said, or stands for. I laughed at the NAACP gal blasting Trump for "reacting" just now to Law enforcement reforms. I have to laugh because after 8 years of Obama/Biden and 40 years of Joe in the Congress, why aren't they upset with them for not doing a damn thing? It's funny and it's an obvious campaign issue that apparently is lost on them.

The fact that over 11 MILLION people watched Trump’s Tulsa rally, and some MILLIONS watched his town hall with Hannity is a good indication of the enthusiasm out there for him. Compare that to the few thouosand who bother to watch Biden “events”.

The 2012 election proves that it can be an error to rely on “enthusiasm” to carry the day. Republicans were optimistic because of polls a few months before the election showing Obama supporters were not very enthusiastic compared to Romney supporters. The Obama campaign overcame that through a combination of an extremely sophisticated GOTV operation, and brutal attacks on Romney. The attacks got some people out to the polls because they were scared of Romney.
There are differences between 2020 and 2012. The Biden campaign probably won’t have the superior GOTV operation, but who really knows. There’s so much independent money supporting the Dems. But the point is, low enthusiasm can be overcome.

Biden cant choose a black VP. Why? Because hes a racist. My prediction is that he will pick a light skinned person of color, such as Susan Rice.
