A couple brandished an AR-15 and a handgun at protesters marching past their mansion in an upscale St. Louis neighborhood. Husband and wife, Mark and Patricia McCloskey could be seen aiming the guns at demonstrators who walked by their palatial property in the wealthy Forest Park area at around 6pm on Sunday.
At one point, the pair seemed to be unknowingly pointing their weapons at one another other while trying to keep protesters away from their home - dubbed the Niemann Mansion. The protesters were en route to Mayor Lyda Krewson's home to demand her resignation after she released the names and addresses of residents who had suggested defunding the police department. The pair are both personal injury lawyers and run McCloskey Law Center from inside their extravagant home.
Mr McCloskey is representing a victim of police brutality. The man - who was identified by the initials I.F. - was kicked and struck by police officer David Maas in shocking dashcam footage. The initials match a 2019 civil lawsuit made by Isaiah Forman in which the same allegations are put forward. Forman pleaded guilty to crashing his car into a police vehicle during the chase and is serving a seven year sentence. Maas was charged with one count of deprivation of rights under color of law.

That having been said, I am wondering why so many liberals are ruining their own businesses to support this movement. It doesn't make sense. Why does CNN advocate for anarchy when their own building and news crews are attacked? Other businesses are losing so much money they will go out of business, but they don't seem to care? Who is inciting all of this when the outcome is going to be their own ruin? I wish someone would explain that to me.
Again, chainsaws wielded by the pair would have been a far greater deterrent. None of the bums in the street would have come near them. Thought of a couple of good ideas for rioters/looters last night. First, starve some lions, giving just enough food to keep them crazy. Cage them. Then, bring the cages to the rioting/looting site and set some down on one side. Go around to the other side and set down cages with starving lions. Give the rioters/looters five minutes to clear the scene. If they don't, cut the lions loose. Portable fencing could be employed to keep the lions in the kill zone until finished.
Another idea: Develop spiked strips with razor sharp 3" nails pointing up that can be deployed rapidly. Throw them down on both sides of the rioters/looters in the street and then open a gap and send in a group of LEOs to arrest people. No one is running anywhere. I have many more ideas.
They need to be proud and loud about protecting themselves and property .
Use it in their Ads .

Liberal thinking. The building is insured, and the people are collateral. Liberals don’t care about their sheep they are gong to slaughter at some time anyway. The people’s main use is to supply voters 18 years from now. It’s just a breeding process. And the sheep pay for the education, their upkeep (welfare programs), and the healthcare to birth the next generation of lambs through taxes. The southern dems did the same thing with their slaves, sometimes helping the with a little personal attention. This is why it is so detestable.

Yeah...they’re peacul all right...’till they’re not.
Maybe the show of force convinced them to be peaceful. What a concept...right.
I admire them for their willingness to stand up and let the “peaceful protesters” know they should stay away.
That said, I’m sorry, but these two tubby’s look silly with their guns. They would have been much more threatening had they been on the roof. Always employ direct fire from the highest point available. Just my $.02.
They didn’t look very intimidating. But it worked.
