I found out today that this extortion is happening in downtown Raleigh, NC.
First, most of the businesses in downtown Raleigh which had their windows and doors broken into still have plywood up in their windows and doors - and it has been several weeks since the worst of the riots. (broken windows, doors, fires, looting).
Second, one young lady was trying to clean up some of the grafitti that was still painted on the outside of her building. BLM was there - in full - along with the names of “victims” of police brutality.
She was being WATCHED by a car full of “protesters”....who told her not to touch the BLM or the victim list.
Or else.
She was alone (a stupid situation) so she left the BLM and the list of victims’ names on the building.
This is probably going on all across this country but it is sickening to the nth degree. And what is the solution?
Exactly. It’s like expecting seagulls to stop raiding your picnic by throwing them a bag of popcorn.
I’m so disgusted at the capitulation going on...from huge corporations to mom and pop stores. It’s like the rest of their consumers don’t exist or that they agree with what they’re doing. But then I think about the big companies that are NOT participating and there are a lot, and I feel somewhat better.
It makes me sick too.
Let’s see, Target allows men who say they are women to go into women’s restrooms, so, let me think about this a minute, . . . . . . no, I don’t give a tinkers damned if they burn Target to the ground!!!
Random, totally unrelated question: Does anyone know what causes “food deserts”, where large urban areas have no place to buy groceries?
lock & load
Target being targeted by LOOTERS today... Target has to close that store...
“Target is reaping what it has sown. No way will I ever shop their and now Wal Mart is on that list too after giving millions to the BLM terrorists.”
Thankfully I have a Meijer store in the same neighborhood as my local Target and Wal-Mart. Like Wal-Mart, Meijer sells almost everything. Unlike the other stores, the shoppers aren’t freaks, and the only time I saw them get into politics was when they sold a book about a former senator from Michigan.
Unfortunately, in my area we have wal mart. Meijer is not available in Missouri. They should consider expanding; people are sick of these conglomerates being political.
There's something to that dichotomy, I wholeheartedly agree. Even in Grand Haven, which is kinda posh, and the Walmart seems a little nicer and fancier than other area Walmart stores, the shoppers are largely indistinguishable from those in the other Walmarts. Meijer and Walmart are right across the street from each other, and there's a tony D&W grocery store quite near there.
Oh, and one of the Meijer scions is running for office..
I live in Kentucky, the only state with Meijer stores that isn’t around the Great Lakes. The southernmost store in the whole chain is about 25 miles from here.
