New Jersey Attorney General Gurbir Grewal filed voter fraud charges Thursday against two Paterson city officials who allegedly engaged in a mail-in ballot scheme in connection to a special election in May.
Grewal levelled the charges against Paterson City Councilman Michael Jackson, Councilman-Elect Alex Mendez, and two other men after the Postal Inspection Service warned Grewal’s office that hundreds of mail-in ballots were found in a Paterson mailbox, InsiderNJ reported Thursday.
The attorney general’s Office of Public Integrity & Accountability (OPIA) began a probe after the Postal Inspection Service issued the warning. Paterson authorities decided to conduct the May 12 special election through mail-in ballots due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which has reportedly killed more than 124,000 people in the U.S.
Only 13,557 of the 16,747 vote-by-mail ballots in Paterson were counted, a local NBC affiliate in New York reported in May. More than 800 ballots in Paterson were invalidated for appearing in mailboxes tethered together. One mailbox reportedly had hundreds of ballots tied together.
The board of elections disqualified another 2,300 ballots after concluding that the signatures did not match voting records.
One Paterson woman named Romana Javier, after NBC showed her a list of people who allegedly voted on her block, told the channel that she never received a ballot and did not vote. “We did not receive vote-by-mail ballots and thus we did not vote,” she said. “This is corruption. This is fraud.”
The potential for fraud as a result of state and local officials resorting to mail-in ballots has become a topic of conversation among conservatives. Twitter flagged one of President Donald Trump’s tweets for suggesting in May that California’s mail-in ballots will be “substantially fraudulent.”
I am starting to think that may be an option. But if RATS are in favor of it I will oppose it.
Open the polling stations, wear masks and social distance. That fixes the need for mail-in.

Don’t postpone it, just limit it to in-person voting, and no masks or excessive hand-washing allowed.
That way the Democrats will stay home.
It’s really funny how you can tell a person’s politics by their view of social distancing, mask wearing and shutdowns.
Last night, by band played our first gig since the shutdown. It was in rural PA, in a refurbished barn venue we’ve played in often. The place was packed. The servers wore masks but not the patrons. The tables were a bit spread out and there was no cluster of dancers...
But other than that, it seemed pretty normal.
The cool thing is that I connected with a ton of people I know who are Trump supporters but I had no idea because Trump supporters don’t generally offer their political opinions at a musical gig - only Democrats do that.
But this time the coronavirus was all anyone was talking about, and it turns out you can easily tell a person’s politics by their coronavirus attitude.
If they said something like “Life is full of risks but people should be free to deal with it as they see fit.” Then I could say something like “Yeah, the shutdown wouldn’t have happened if it wasn’t an election year”. Then they would say something like “Yeah, the shutdown was designed to snuff out Trump’s economy”.
Then, before I knew it, I was having another pro-Trump conversation!
I wonder if Chris Wallace will acknowledge 20% as being significant? I can’t take Fox News anymore, especially on the weekends with the likes of this crazy establishment freak and others like Leland Vitter, Arthel, and Eric.
They don’t even need Democrat guests because these propagandists have all the DNC talking points down pat. Literally debating each guest to show their true colors. I won’t watch until the night crew returns with some much needed sanity.
A sentence that will never be enforced has no deterrent effect at all.
Vote fraud is endemic because there is very little risk of getting caught. And if your guy wins, there is almost no chance of being prosecuted.
Voter registrations should automatically expire every nine years and required in-person presence with ID to renew. Voters who do not vote in two consecutive regular elections should be automatically dropped from the rolls.
Addresses with more than four registered voters should be subject to inquiries.
This would go a long way to curbing vote fraud.
So, what are they doing in regards to the fraudulent election results?
It would be possible to gimmick the machines that count the votes with coding that only activates on a certain date. During test runs and audits, the counts would pass all tests. During the election day, the counts would be automatically adjusted so the totals match, but the Democrats always win.
No need to tamper with the seals on the machines during the election. They would come already tampered.
Maybe that is why the election needs to be held on November 3.

I propose that President Trump speak to America, SOON, and state that our elections affect each and every one of us, and thus all of us have a right and a duty to ensure that the process is fair and honest. “One vote per citizen. No less. No more.” He should list proven examples of how our voting rights have been diluted by vote fraud.
Then he should state that he wants the American citizens to weigh in on how best to accomplish fair and honest elections, with specific suggestions about making sure that no American citizen has their right to decide representation diluted by the votes of those who do not have that right, or who would undermine the sanctity of the voting process.
Then, he should announce a “Call for proposals”, each limited to 350 words, from citizens - delineating what they suggest should be done to ensure the sanctity of their vote.
Sure this approach will be abused, and the left will try to destroy its credibility, but the message will have been sent. Further, it’s not a referendum or a vote/survey. It’s a way to elicit viable plans, and the White House can choose what proposals they want to consider and discuss.
At the very least it shines a very, very bright light on a problem the left and the media (but I repeat myself) have ignored and tried to bury.
It isn’t the fact that mail voting fraud occurred in this blue state; it’s the fact that someone in the state government is claiming fraud and prosecuting it. Bribes must have been missing somewhere along the line.
Though I rarely would wear a mask, I would gladly wear it to vote in person if only no mail-ins were allowed.

Also if ther is over 100% voter participation the precint votes should NOT be counted.
Same city that arrested Hurricane...so it seems those same people are still there in power.
