Latest Harris Poll Shows Sharp Narrowing of Biden Lead from 10 to Only 4 points

If the general election for President were held today, 43 percent of registered voters said they'd choose vote for presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden, while 39 percent said they would vote for a second President Trump term, a new Hill-HarrisX poll finds.

The four-point lead for the former vice president is down from 10 percentage points in the same poll from June 1-4. Trump trailed Biden 47-37 in that poll.

Party loyalty seems to be intensifying for the President with a 4 percentage point increase of support among Republican voters.

The Hill-HarrisX poll was conducted online among 951 registered voters between June 22-23. It has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.18 percentage points.

Nine percent undecided seems like a substantial number. Could the majority of these undecideds be those Trump voters who won’t reveal their support for him over the phone? It seems logical they would simply say they’re undecided. If True, Trump could actually be substantially ahead in this poll.

Out of curiosity, I looked for old poll data and found some for Gallup. For Gallup polls, Republicans over the last 60 years have had an average net gain of 4.8% relative to Democrats when you compare overall poll results at the end of June to election day.

Trump's team is running ads in Georgia. He didn't before, Romney didn't, McCain didn't, W didn't. What's that tell you about what his campaign internals are telling them?

It looks like likely voters in Georgia are upset with Trump about the virus by not taking strong enough action, but prefer him on the economy. Suburban women aren't feeling safe.
