Just tell them to piss off. If they can’t do that tell them to bring their army to enforce their ruling.
That does not apply to discretionary funds not directly applied to any program. Those are what he allocated to the wall.
That’s right, so pull the shortage from federal court funding.
Keep praying everyone that God would remove misguided judges and those whose mindset is evil intent.
So says the most over-turned circuit court in history.
See Post 14.
Otherwise any president can diddle the DOD budget in any way he wants, like use all funds to buy nerf guns and taffy. Has to spend the bucks in accordance with what it was appropriated for. . .unless he gets re-programming approval.
Article I, Section 9, para 7.
“No Money shall be drawn from the Treasury, but in Consequence of Appropriations made by Law;”
Ah....the 9th Circus. I would have said SCOTUS will make this right, but their track-record is shaky right now.
KEEP BUILDING THE WALL!
SCOTUS already said he could, so there!
Pound sand, 9th circus.
How many times is this case going to be heard? The SCOTUS already ruled in Trump’s favor.
Trump turned the majority on the 9th with his picks. I’m sure he’ll ask for a full vote.
oops...my bad...just pretend that new 218 miles of fencing isn’t there.
I thought so
I believe they can further delay -—and perhaps avoid the SC—by requesting an en banc review from the entire 9th Circus, which is not the totally whacked circus it used to be.
Lose there, then go to SC, if needed.
A three Judge Panel. Law made by those picking the short straw.
Didn’t another group of black-robed tyrants say that he could?
The House hasn’t passed any budgets, therefore, all money is subject to executive interpretation.
The Supremes must over-rule the treasonous Ninth Circus so the President can continue to BUILD THAT WALL!
Leni
What I said.
He can spend bucks appropriated and authorized for a purpose as defined in the PB.
Actually, a continuing resolution (CR) basically carries forward the DOD PB, but limited (reduced funding usually).
From the article:
“While Friday’s ruling is a win for the environmental groups and states challenging the use of military funds, a Supreme Court stay, issued last year that allows the funds to be used, remains in effect for the time being.”
