Former Vice President Joe Biden said Thursday that he would compel Americans to wear masks in public if elected president.
In an interview with Pittsburgh CBS affiliate KDKA, Biden said that he would use federal power to “mandate” masks.
Q: I know you have been critical of the president’s handling of the pandemic in the past. But let’s look ahead. If you became president tomorrow, what would you do differently regarding the pandemic and getting these surging cases now under control?
Biden: I would go back to making sure that everybody had masks, that you had PPE [personal protective equipment] lined up, we’d have been making sure we stockpile all the things that we need that we don’t have now. The one thing we do know, these masks make a gigantic difference. I would insist that everybody out in public be wearing that mask. Anyone to reopen — would have to make sure that they walked in their business that had masks.
Q: Couldn’t you use the federal leverage to mandate that, though?
Biden: Yes.
Q: Would you?
Biden: Yes, I would from an executive standpoint, yes, i would.
Q: So you would, in effect, mandate the wearing of masks.
Biden: I would do everything possible to make it required that people had to wear masks in public.

As I read this I look over at the TV and their is Biden with his mask pulled down rubbing his nose with his fingers. He is the Biggest Clown Alive.
try looking at any firearm for sale online, all are sold out. Mask or not, not a good time for criminals.

Which is shockingly large, so this might be the first semi-intelligent thing he has attempted as a candidate. Now he just needs to promise them he will lock up any kid who scares them by making a gun with his fingers, and he will be all set for November. :)

Many people have marginal breathing capacity, just ask a BLM activist Joe.
In listening to Joe, it seems he is always using the phrase “I will make sure” we do this, we do that. This is something a 8th grader would say when campaigning for class President.
Joe, please go out and march with your brown shirt and ( brown skinned ) youth.

This has become a pointless discussion.
There is now overwhelming evidence from Europe and Asia that universal masking prevents transmission and speeds the rate of decline in new cases to near zero. This has occurred in France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Taiwan, Vietnam and elsewhere.
Whether the benefit is worth the burden is a valid discussion. Saying that universal masking doesn’t work is a lost cause.
