This has become a pointless discussion.
There is now overwhelming evidence from Europe and Asia that universal masking prevents transmission and speeds the rate of decline in new cases to near zero. This has occurred in France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Taiwan, Vietnam and elsewhere.
Whether the benefit is worth the burden is a valid discussion. Saying that universal masking doesn’t work is a lost cause.
Actually it looks like Taiwan and Vietnam nay have lower cases due to the MMR vaccine. No proof that universal marking does anything but keep spreading that myth
I think the point is this is being forced on Americans without anyone ever voting on it.
You can’t arrest or fine anyone without them being charged with a crime.
If there is no law, there is by default no crime.
There are plenty of laws on the books now which are now ignored.
If you are not going to enforce it, remove the law.
If you are going to enforce it, write and pass a law.
Incorrect. Dr. Kerkhove recently said there is no transmission for asymtomatic people based on WHO long term studies in several countries including Singapore.
As other doctors noted in agreement, illness is needed to spread a respiratory illness as is the Chinese Communist Party Virus.
That is the science.
Nothing like lowered oxygen levels. *******
To compensate for the lowered oxygen levels, the body must breathe more, which means that more air is going in and out of the lungs to give them a given amount of oxygen. How this keeps the virus count down in closed spaces is beyond me.
Only a Fauci could fall for this nonsense. The above reality posted by Socon-Econ!

i assume you’re referring to all of those placebo-controlled, double-blinded studies that prove that masks stop covid rather than just random observations?

While in some ways I like your post, this is too much of a one-size fits all solution.
I live in a county of 120,000 that had 25 cases total, including two new cases in June. We presently have one active case that has been confined to hospital for weeks. Why should I have to keep a mask on my 4 and 7 year old?
Do you like daylight savings time?

show us this ‘overwhelming evidence’...
