An overwhelming majority of Americans say they've worn a face mask in public in the last week, as the coronavirus pandemic persists and infections reach new highs in more than a dozen states, a new ABC News/Ipsos poll finds.
Nearly nine in 10 Americans (89%) who left their home in the last week said they wore a face mask or a face covering, compared to only 11% who said they did not.

I think the fit of your mask around your nose, needs to be adjusted, or maybe you need a new mask.
I wear a mask, and glasses. I believe you might just need a better connection, around your nose.
There are lots of masks which have a bendable semi-rigid support over the nose.
Use that first. Get that connection so that air cannot escape the mask out around your nose, then put your glasses on over that.

I only done one when going to Costco to see if they have got TP.
I went shopping yesterday, it was about 40% or maybe a little less masked. I wasn’t one of them.
Not wearing mask. Had the Kung flu in January. Get over it. I did.

In Leon county next door, they have announced that if you don’t wear a mask in public you will be fined. I have to go there today. I have a headband for old bald men that says “Home Depot” on it. I will wear that.
Many of the people I see wearing masks have their noses uncovered. In Wakulla county yesterday none of the white-haired employees at ACE were wearing masks.
Not related, but interesting. The “Gulf Coast” (lumber supply) in Woodville, Wakulla, not only were none of the employees masked but the man driving the forklift looked like he tipped the scales at eighty years+ and there was a guy shuffling around straightening the shelves for them who appeared to be in his nineties. (Just damn! The manager of that place had told me how hard it was to find employees. I am guessing these older guys were either owners or relations or people who had worked their years ago.)

Yep they destroy people’s livelyhoods and businesses because they are afraid of a bug that affects a vanishingly small percentage of the population rather than take responsibility for themselves and stay the hell home.
I don’t think “decent” means what you think it means.
As you may have guessed, this is because the masks have nothing to do with stopping the spread of communicable disease.

Expecting a mask to contain a virus is like expecting your underwear to contain a fart.
Even if your percentages are true, what are the odds of two non-infected people catching covid-19 if neither are wearing the mask? And what percentage of the population has covid-19 without symptoms?
When you start to factor that information into the calculations, the effectiveness is much lower than stated.
The reason for the surge is BECAUSE people are wearing masks. Most deaths occur in nursing homes - they are all required to wear these stupid masks!!!! Masks are a hoax and an attempt to push us around.
Uninformed?? You do realize that face masks did not prevent any deaths in nursing homes, etc. and they faced the highest risks and represent the most deaths. They were all required to wear face masks! Perhaps you should stop trolling and drinking the liberal cool-aid.
So which is it? The mask won't filter a 120nm virus but if you breathe it out, it circulates inside the mask? Then in the same breath, you mention CO2 levels going up, but Co2 is is at least 4 orders of magnitude smaller than the virus. Are you suggesting that your mask that "doesn't stop anything", can somehow catch CO2?
How about you realize that naked Virons, small enough to escape an N95 mask don't exist short of bits of RNA fragments. If a virus is not in a carrier of some sort, water droplets, mucus, etc., they dry up and break apart. The water droplets however are much larger and do get captured.
As for how to wear a mask properly, it's not hard. If you can't figure it out on your own, the gene pool might be better without you.
