An article in the NY Times this Monday was headlined, “In a GOP stronghold, a Special Election gives Democrats HOPE”. It addressed a special election held this Tuesday with the resignation of the incumbent Rep congressman. The next day, the Republican candidate won by 69-29 percent, real close and full of “hope” wasn’t it??
And if if DID happen, was it a virile incumbent versus a veritable cadaver? The odds are mind numbing...
Didn’t believe the polls in 2016 and don’t believe them now...........but if this fake news gets all the sane, America loving patriots out to the polls to vote for the one who can save this country - so be it!!!

FOX polls in 2016 were just as bad or even worse than CNN polls.
If everyone lied to pollsters, then candidates would have no idea how to lie to us to get our votes. In an act of desperation they might have to tell the truth about their plans. And that’s just a crazy way to run the country.

Looking at Rasmussen earlier today, Trump’s job approval now is at about 47%, compared to Obama’s 46% at about this time in 2012. Since Obama did not face current situations like the pandemic or the anarchy going on in Democrat cities and also had the full adulation of the media and entertainment industry elites, this is a perspective worth considering when looking at the recent barrage of polls casting doom and gloom for Trump.

The news media, of which we are their audience and are presumably influenced by their commercials which are the reason we see their broadcasts at no cost to us, need to keep us watching, which means they need to tell us a story, chapter after chapter, that’s in its on way entertaining.
The news media has always been that way.
One could argue that the pictures are so pretty and the presenters are part of the pretty pictures, especially the lady presenters, and the presenters scare us and give us hope at the same time — one could argue that our opinions are shaped by their presentations more than in the past.
