Last night ignorant leftists tore down the statue of Hans Christian Heg in Madison, Wisconsin. They beheaded the statue and then threw it in a lake. Hans Christian Heg was an abolitionist who gave his life to end slavery in America.
During their rioting Democrat Senator Tim Carpenter stopped by and took a video of the destruction. The mob turned on him. They punched him, beat him in the head, neck and ribs. They socked him in the left eye and gave him a concussion.

Yes. They destroyed state property including two valuable donated statues in full view of the police, who apparently did nothing in accordance with orders. Democrat-approved violence and destruction.
It was a “peaceful” beating by folks just “expressing their first amendment rights” in “protest” during a “festival”.

The leader of the riots had ordered that no photos or films of their rampage would be allowed. His thugs followed those orders and committed a major felony to add to the felony of the destruction of $9,000,000 worth of statuary.
The liberal major, police chief one of them ordered the police to stand down because they were afraid of how it might look if they tried to stop them. Madison and Dane county tax dollars at work
First their blood lust was for the statues then they turned on people - this is how these things go - left unchecked it just gets worse and more people will deliberately beaten and finally killed.
