A Republican candidate running for a St. Louis-area House seat has published a 23-page document outlining a conspiracy theory that the footage of George Floyd, the Minneapolis man whose death in police custody has ignited weeks of protests, was staged to inflame racial tensions.
We conclude that no one in the video is really one person but rather they are all digital composites of two or more real people to form completely new digital persons using deepfake technology, Winnie Heartstrong, who is running against Rep. Lacy Clay (D-Mo.), wrote.
The document, which Heartstrong claims was written with the aid of citizen investigators, alleges Floyd died long before May 25. It also repeats a conspiracy theory that Derek Chauvin, the former Minneapolis police officer charged with second-degree murder in Floyds death, is in fact Cash Cab host Ben Bailey.
Heartstrong also wrote that she urge[s] President Trump to open an investigation into these claims to help resolve the issue of deepfake technology once and for all, Heartstrong.

Present the evidence.
This makes conservatives look bad. I hope this isn’t an important person.
Winnie Heartstrong is not headstrong or brain strong.
You know there are easier and less stupid ways to lose a race!
Lacy Clay is in a safe seat. This is a good race for a nutcake to to waste energy.
I expect many deepfakes of Trump will appear in the coming months, but this? Hmm.
Well it might help if 27 days later — Keith Ellison would finally release the police cam videos — which Atlanta police did in less than 24 hrs.
I got sidetracked into a Twitter feed that had multiple angles of sight on the G.Floyd scene. At one point, when being placed on the gurney it appears he has no legs. This was posited to be one of the very real looking EMT training dummies made by the company that just happened to end up skipping town “due to unsafe conditions”. (I know, I know, but work with me...)
There is so much manufactured BS going on these days, who knows? With The Beast I am tempted to shrug and say, “At this point what difference does it make?”
“candidate”
Ignore all of the other candidates in a primary race and focus on the troll.

2 years ago a “neonazi” ran in the general election because he put his name into a race for an uncontested Democrat seat. We were told “look there is a Neo-nazi Republican”. Not really a Republican but the press got their soundbite.

27 days after Trump leaves office

IDK abt deepfakes of trump, but imo, theyre setting the stage to be able to explain away the videos of hildabest & muuma that were in weiners lap top.... or epstein island cc tv???
I’m with you, anything is quite possible today, and Democrats would not hesitate using such a tool.
I see “The Hill” of trash bot is still at it.
It seemed to me this was likely deepfaked, but I don’t know how you can tell. Seems unlikely a drug dealer / porn actor, violent criminal felon would be making a video like this.
The other deepfake seems to be the material on Christianity Today showing George Floyd carrying a Bible and claiming he went to Minneapolis to engage in Christian ministry (LOL).
But actual deepfakes will do plenty of damage so long as people can be made to believe they are genuine. I have no doubt that deepfakes will soon be used against Trump.
Our brave new world.
Well, where did his hair go?
Wearing a toupee is a thing...
