Dozens of former prosecutors are questioning the governments handling of a case against two lawyers hit with charges that could put them in prison for nearly 50 years for torching an empty New York City police vehicle last month.

Fine people have lost their way my ass.
What a defense.
They were born to be an example to others. Let them rot.
“Jury nullification”.
Seen it praised on FR often.
It’s a two-edged weapon.
So they all self identified as supporters of domestic terrorism.
RICO their ass....who is paying them?
The left never wants to pay the consequences of their actions.
To damn bad, through the book at them.
> the young attorneys were at worst guilty of stupidity in the first degree.
> It is one night where really fine people lost their way,” Schechtman said. One can lose ones sense in a moment or even in an hour on an evening like this.
They are 32-year-old lawyers, not 16-year-old punks. Their actions were their deliberate, considered, and planned acts of criminal violence.
And they must be subject to federal charges because there is no other remedy in Democrat jurisdictions, where Democrats have exempted themselves from the law simply by refusing to enforce it against themselves. The only value of the law in New York is to punish political dissidents.
Democrats have expanded it to police nullification, prosecutorial nullification, and judicial nullification. At every step they conspire to prevent the law from being applied to Democrats.
They’re foreign terrorist lawyers. It’s a national security problem. Make an example of them.
“Arson used to carry the death penalty”.
Looters used to be shot on site. We should return to these standards.
“Prosecutors allege the lawyers planned to distribute and throw other Molotov cocktails.”
Looks like they were going to “lose their way” again before they got caught.
Locking up terrorists forever is self defense. All of these rioters and looters involved in destroying our cities should be removed from society.
Throwing a punch at someone who gets in your face may be "loosing one's sense in a moment" - gathering the materials for Molotov cocktails, preparing said cocktails, transporting said cocktails, and using said cocktails leaves plenty of time for reflection: Is this really a good idea?
One does not lock up terrorists. One kills them. Terrorists in prisons are training grounds for more terrorists.
They ought to be disbarred as well.
Really fine people???? Do hes supporting terrorists
It is obvious why the feds took this on.
It was premeditated. They were caught handing out the bombs, or trying, to others.
It’s leftists coming to their aid for the cause. They are connected to Obamunists.
This is encouraging to hear, real charges for terrorism.
Honest officer, I didn’t steal the cow. I found the rope and brought it home, but I didn’t know that there was a cow tied to the other end of the rope. And, how many unpremeditated murders have been committed by someone that merely lost there way for a minute or maybe an hour?
It is one night where really fine people lost their way,” Schechtman said.
.....................................
Schechtman revealed by this asinine statement that he fell out of the same garbage can those two “fine people” did!
Maybe, but you can't really expect lawyers to know the law. Is that the kind of nation we want to live in? /s
