While the FBI investigation into the noose found in Darrell Wallace Jr.s garage stall at Talladega Superspeedway is over, NASCARs own investigation is ongoing.
We are continuing our portion of the investigation to try to determine why there was a rope fashioned into a noose, which obviously happened sometime last October, or before, said NASCAR President Steve Phelps.

Wallace, the Kapernick of NASCAR.
And who will be watching this garbage from now on? Not me.
That was a bowline knot, not a noose. Who made the complaint? This was no accident. Maybe a joke that backfired but whoever called that piece of rope a threat needs to be held accountable. These false reports must end. I believe this is noose complaint #7 in two years, each one false, each one the victim was the perp. Don’t let them sweep this under the rug. Raise hell!!!!
Did Bubba report this noose hoax to NASCAR officials.
Or did someone on Bubbas team?
I dont recall reading about who reported the noose.
Does anybody know?
OMG they keep calling it a “noose”....it’s a looped handle. A “noose” is for hanging people. A looped rope is for pulling a fricking garage door up.
In a sane world, it would be Bubba.
It’s probably not a noose knot. A noose will pulldown to grip. It was probably a bowline.
I pretty much stopped after Sr died.
NASCAR has been lying for more than a decade and their fans eat it up. Starting with the fiction that the stock cars are based on actual stock cars. Tell me again where I can buy a V8, RWD Camry again?
Thought I saw one of the 43 crew still on Twitter saying it was a noose
Yes!
Not a slipknot.
Apologies need to be forthcoming, starting with Bubba Smollett. Then Jeff Gordon and Mike Joy.
One of his crew members.
Supposedly he didnt see it and was called by the CEO.
But he certainly ran with it!
I’m not a bigger follower but even I know who you’re talking about. That’s been a while now.
Sad occasion.
Comments close at the source......LOL!
Back in the 80s, a couple of my dad’s friends were into weekend dirt track racing.
One was an absolute ace driver. The other was the best mechanic around.
They were hated since they were constantly winning. These guys were some of nicest fellows in my town.
The car would be torn down, inspected, reinspected to the Nth degree. All legal and legit.
After a few years, the driver started to have medical problems so there ended the saga.
NASCAR should hire Mueller to investigate the noose incident...noose collusion...about 10 years and 100 million dollars...
Bubba Smollet was on The View this morning bashing the skeptics:

That didn’t age well.
Fifteen FBI agents investigating one garage door rope.
Well done.

On our dime
NASCAR is taking orders from the those who own their television contracts and screwing with people's lives in doing so. Would it be too much to ask NASCAR to reimburse us taxpayers for the FBI time they wasted?
Yeah, the FBI is busy investigating garage door rope. What a joke.
NASCAR will announce after a thorough investigation that they will switch from the racially insensitive rope loop to a politically correct wooden dowel with a hole in it as a door pull.
Later after approval, they will go to an automatic garage door opener once they secure the proper carbon credits from Regretta Van Sustenance.
