I have personally seen over a billion dollars wasted for a program that was promised to be fielded in 2017, but now beyond 2024 when there was a viable fielded option. The money and power was not there. Really opened my eyes to see MGs knowingly commit that waste.
I am of the view that there are a lot of retired LTC’s that are capable of GO operations, but they were not PC. I would like to see Trump populate the GVT with a lot of these retired O5’s that would do the right thing if given the chance.
F’’k the Obama GOs.

I heard on John Batchelor an interview with an IT contractor for the Pentagon who used to work there. He set up his own company after he left government and seems to be doing very well. I wouldn’t be surprised if these people are going to work for him.
