Specifically, on Monday, they elevated the Black Lives Matter flag to the top of Levi’s Stadium right next to the California and American flags.

Choose the NFL was so eager to make their political statement about all of this, and Kaepernick was the lightning rod for all of this in the NFL, some NFL team is going to be asked or encouraged, or have arms Twisted behind the scenes , to sign Kaepernick, and play Kaepernick.

I’m sure some behind-the-scenes offers will be made to some team, probably a team that does not have strong playoff hopes this year, just so the NFL can say look at us we atoned for the sin of blacklisting Kaepernick.

I’ve read that Long Beach State (founded in 1949) has eliminated its 49er mascot, because, of course, the 49ers were racists. So there is ample precedent.
