Comedy is dead. Could you imagine Rickles or the Rat Pack trying to tell jokes today?
I just watched a documentary on Sammy Davis, Jr.
The Rat Pack was doing a Vegas show. Sinatra scoops up Sammy in his arms and says;
“I’d like to thank the NAACP for awarding me this trophy”.
Those great funny days will never come back.
