Joe Biden committed to participating in three planned debates against President Trump while criticizing Trump for trying to add an additional debate.
“Joe Biden looks forward to facing Donald Trump in a multi-debate series that the American people have come to expect from their leaders; we hope that President Trump would not break that tradition or make excuses for a refusal to participate,” Biden campaign manager Jen O’Malley Dillon wrote Monday in a letter to the nonpartisan Commission on Presidential Debates

Wow, that’s a huge change from earlier this year, when the President was calling out the Debate Commission and threatening to skip at least one.
Of course, that was when he was assuming he was going to be facing Bernie.
I can’t believe Biden will last 10 minutes in a head to head debate with Trump.
They fell into the trap. Trump had to guard against fewer debates. Asking for more made them commit.
Biden is playing the game of lowered expectations, they will pump him full of Modafinil, and when he doesn’t fall flat on his face, they will declare him the victor. You heard it here first.

They have to make them fair. Biden needs a handicap. Trump can answer the question in 3 minutes, they will have to give Biden an hour to remember what the question was.
As long as Biden is breathing it'll be him. The Democrats know that going with Bernie or Warren is suicide.

I don’t think it’s bad internals - on the contrary - it is a show of confidence.
Having said that, I don’t think he should be pushing for more debates.
I think the issue should be who moderates them.
I’d like to see him reject the so-called debate commission altogether and insist on choosing the venue, the format and the moderators for half of the debates and letting Biden choose the other half.
That is why there should be an even number - either two or four.
And by choosing moderators I don’t mean let Fox News choose. I mean Trump should choose specific people - maybe Mark Levin, Lou Dobbs, Candice Owens, Larry Elder, people like that..
If he insisted on that, we would see the first fair presidential debates in a very long time.
