Hi Everybody!
((((HUGS))))
Stand strong and stay safe!
Thanks for the history lesson—hadn’t known or remembered the story behind the Stryker vehicle name.
Good evening, ML...((HUGS))...you and Blue had a great adventure day today. Foot feeling better?
Is Penny finding a perfect place to rest in her mud room?
We had some nice sun and then a short downpour. Any rain is welcome.
As far as the foot goes...I am not out of the woods yet, but it is a lot better.
I have a breezy covered deck and Penny loves it.
We had some very violent thunderstorms this afternoon, JUST as I pulled in with Blue and covered her up for the night.
Penny doesn’t like the thunder, so I was glad i got home in time to comfort and reassure her.

Bible in a Year:
We fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen.
The apostle Paul and his co-workers experienced great suffering at the hands of persecutors and even from believers who tried to discredit them. Yet, they had their eyes fixed on eternity. Paul boldly acknowledged that we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal (2 Corinthians 4:18).
Although they were doing Gods work, they lived with the reality of being hard pressed on every side, perplexed, persecuted, and struck down (vv. 89). Shouldnt God have delivered them from these troubles? But instead of being disappointed, Paul built his hope on the eternal glory that supersedes momentary troubles (v. 17). He knew Gods power was at work in him and had complete assurance that the one who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead will also raise us with Jesus (v. 14).
When our world around us feels shaky, may we turn our eyes to Godthe eternal Rock that will never be destroyed.
In what do you choose to hope in spite of your difficulties? How have you experienced Gods faithfulness?
I lift my eyes to You today, O God. Give me a glimpse of the security I have in You.
Good evening, Mayor, and thank you for today’s sustenance for body and soul.
Lots of grands and lap time today? Fun had by all?
And now, ready to take on the new week.....
We had a great afternoon and they only left an hour ago. Last one just left.

....for his actions during the Vietnam War. He is buried in Pine Hill Cemetery Throop, New York. The Army Stryker vehicle is named in his and PFC Stuart S. Stryker's honor. |
Greetings to all at the Canteen!
To all our military men and women, past and present,
Howdy, Kathy.
I hope you got at least one of the rain showers I saw on the airport cam. A couple of them looked pretty heavy.
A few showers came through our area today but missed us for the most part. We got a couple of sprinkles.
Howdy, luvie.
Hope your day was good. Did you get enough sleep so you wouldn’t nod off in church this morning? :-)
Got one of them late afternoon....sounded so cool on my skylight.
Wish it would have lasted more than 10 minutes.
A few sprinkles are better than none. Are the beans needing lots?
WOW! You had a full house and a busy day.
It was good. I actually went to bed "early-ish" so I got up before the alarm, which is great. The alarm makes me a grumpy-puss. LOL!
Hope your day went well too. Did you get any rain? We had another hailstorm last night and about 1/2 inch of rain. Yay!
