With over a million ticket requests, it appears many Trump supporters also requested tickets with no intention of going.
But you can’t get a ticket without a valid email address. They send the ticket to the email address. I know because I have attended a Trump rally.
Just the announcement of the 800K number deterred a lot from even asking.
And were they astute enough to cancel a ticket if the email bounced? I doubt it.

Actually, when you consider

*rioters preventing people from getting in
*the China Virus
*the mayor’s edict a couple of nights earlier that forced ALL those people who had waited days out of line-—which meant (to them) they might not get in at all
I think it was pretty successful.
This was a very good dry run for the upcoming rallies. It was necessary, a sort of Dieppe before Normandy. Parscale will get the work-arounds and the next one will be full.
If I could be guaranteed of actually getting in, I would attend. I went to Columbus in 2015 and got in. I went to Phoenix in 2017 or 2018 and couldn’t get in. I stood in line for over an hour (we were late cuz the person I went with couldn’t get off work), and was about # 1,000 in line. I counted about 2,000 in line behind me. Well, this plays into people’s plans. No one wants to stand in the AZ sun for 3-4 hours and not get in.
That whole bit was 20 minutes very well spent. We loved his ability to be in the absolute most serious position imaginable and yet able to be very self-deprecating in front of millions.
