Absolutely
Law of supply and demand has been politically messed with for decades; hurting millions of US engineers, programmers and IT professionals
This industry is hard enough, without giving foreign nationals preferences that put Americans at a disadvantage
Leon Fresco lies.
Need to get someone in on an L-1 visa to replace him.
Its an auto Trump win if he does. A loss if he doesn’t.
The optics of thousands of H1B Indian scum coming to the US to steal American jobs when there is 49.5 million Americans out of work is something the American population can’t reconcile
Do they still try to maintain that farce? Although that may be the claim in the law, H-1B has become the cheap, low-end wage of the IT world. But it cuts out the bottom rung of the ladder from American workers who could make a very good wage at it over a life time. But that good wage is just what corporate America is trying to destroy. They would rather have Indian mercenaries or serfs.
About bloody time!
Good!
GOOD!!
Suspend H-1B..... forever!
Way to GO PDJTrump!
I expect Trump to move towards a full immigration moratorium in the next few months for the win...
I fully expect the Democrats to sue against any action preventing H-1Bs, and I fully expect the rats to win. Again.
President Trump should have done this day 1 of his presidency.
I would support creating a visa targeting on-air talent in television broadcasting AND media reporting. We need more competition in those areas, plus it would be instructive for Americans to see how similar America-hating foreigners are to media whores.
Great! Exceptional president! The best!
Great! Exceptional president! The best!
Only to be told by a Marxist leftist judge....NO in 3...2...1

Agreeing with you in prayer for that.
We should be writing the President in support of this.
Let him hear from the people themselves where they stand on it..
“The ban on H-1B visas, which are often used to fill very niche positions that are not easily found in the American workforce, will ultimately prove to be counterproductive and is an example of using a nuclear bomb to address a bar fight,” said Leon Fresco, a former deputy assistant attorney general in the Obama administration who now represents H-1B workers.
“Niche positions”? No they do not fill “niche positions” they take up all positions in the Tech industry. Ask the Disney workers if their positions were “niche positions” ask a database analyst if his/her position is a “niche position”. It used to be they could not find talented workers, now it is “niche positions” as the reason for the H1B and other visas. I wish they would cancel the whole damn program all together. Employ those that have the skills to do the job and when companies say they cannot find “skilled workers” then tell the companies, this is our workforce you need to train them so that they do. The company’s response is well they will leave after being trained. The response to this is a H1B visa worker is good for how long? If the company says anything else than 3 years, then they are not hiring a skilled worker rather they are hiring a company to keep the position filled with an H1B worker - meaning the H1B company rotates the position amongst H1B workers rather than recruiting for a new worker.
It would be a start.
