Vice President Mike Pence in a new interview repeatedly refused to say the words “Black lives matter,” instead saying that, "all lives matter in a very real sense."
In an interview with Philadelphia outlet 6ABCAction News, Pence was asked if he would say “Black lives matter” in the wake of nationwide protests over the death of George Floyd, a Black man who died last month after a former Minneapolis police officer knelt on his neck during an arrest for several minutes.
Protests have called for widespread police reforms, as well as other racial justice issues.
“Let me just say that what happened to George Floyd was a tragedy,” Pence said Friday. “And in this nation, especially on Juneteenth, we celebrate the fact that from the founding of this nation, we cherish the ideal that all of us are created equal and endowed by our creator with certain inalienable rights. And so all lives matter in a very real sense.”
Juneteenth is an annual holiday celebrated on June 19 commemorating the abolishment of slavery in the U.S. On June 19, 1865, Union Gen. Gordon Granger read the Emancipation Proclamation to former slaves in Galveston, Texas. Texas was the final state where the order was read and slaves were freed after first being issued by Lincoln two years earlier.
Pence added that the Trump administration is “supporting law enforcement” and will not “defund the police.” The protests across the country have called for defunding police departments and reallocating city and state funds to social programs, specifically those focused on alternative forms of public safety and crime prevention.

You’re right. And even saying “Black lives matter” is sometimes not good enough. You’ve got to kowtow, and promise money while doing so. And you must also except blame for racist things you never did.
Oh, and one more thing. Pence 2024! He deserves it based on this article alone.

The proper answer is, “Of course black lives matter. Asian lives matter. Hispanic lives matter. White lives matter. The lives of unborn children matter. All lives matter. I am opposed to tribalism but at the same time we should have our eyes open to obvious racial disparities. One of the most important of those is that 40 percent of black children are murdered. That is appalling and it far exceeds the carnage for any other racial group in this country. If we are serious about black lives matter, let’s stop the holocaust against black babies. We can begin by defunding Planned Parenthood, which is by far the leading killer of black people in the U.S. today. Are YOU, Mr. Reporter, ready to join me right here and now in a pledge to do that? Are YOU willing to say that unborn black lives matter?”
I’ll even say “All Black Lives Matter” and get called a racist, because the BLM folks only care about those blacks that further their cause.

Right. There is a saying. “The first person who brings up race is the racist.”
That saying has great merit.
Why would anybody in the White House or in the administration say “Black Lives Matter” now that they’ve came out and basically admitted that removal of Trump from the White House as their main goal? Clearly they are operatives for the far left wing of the Democratic Party, why would Pence chant their slogan?
The MSM-Democrats will try to make Pence's refusal to kowtow into a massive scandal.
