Never-Trumpers, we need to hear from you! [Vanity]

Just saw a reference to a Never-Trumper (who happens to be a Republican), and I really and truly want to ask a simple question of any and all of you who place yourself in that category...

(BTW, I haven't seen you much lately, or any references to you folks. Did you finally join the bandwagon? It's kind of why I'm writing this.)

Given the November election as it stands today (although you have to give far better odds than usual that the names may change between JUL and NOV this cycle), are you still at NEVER Trump? Never ever ever?

The alternative (at the moment) is clearly losing his mental faculties.
He has a long history of plagiarism.
He has a long history of inappropriate touching of women and young girls.
He was outed for opposing desegregation by Kamala Harris, on live TV, and he didn't deny it.
He said that he doesn't want his children growing up in a "racial jungle" (verified by Snopes)
He said that black voters "aren't black" if they're considering voting for Trump
Even Osama bin Laden said that Biden was not up to the job of President, and OBL wanted to assassinate President Obama to bring that chaos and incompetence to the US.
Biden has a long history of corrupt dealings through his family members.
He openly and gleefully admitted to his successful billion dollar extortion in Ukraine, on camera.
He has been in DC for over 4 decades, but never once addressed "Systemic Racism" or "Police Brutality" while complaining about them now.
He openly supports higher taxes and more power for DC.
He openly supports the violent protests, while also supports keeping the nation shut down.

I'm sure others could keep this list going, and we could go on for 100 more entries if we generalize and look at what the Democrats will be eager to bring if they win (and even worse, also take the Senate too??).

Sooo... is it STILL Never??? Why? What would it take to change it before November?

I have to know, is there anyone on the Right who STILL cannot vote for Pres Donald J Trump, even though the alternative just keeps looking worse by the day?

Most won’t go on record either way just yet. I believe Ben Shapiro calls himself a sometimes Trumper now, but he could turn on a dime, again.

Right now, at this very important and fragile time in history, a Never Trumper is nothing but a real and true Communist Sympathizer who is aiding and abetting the advance of communism...

Trump, while not calling himself an avowed conservative, is as about a conservative president as we will ever likely get. So he is rough around the edges, so what? Only Melania has to worry about his personality.

We are more likely to get conservative judges under Trump. We are more likely to have a strong military. We are more likely to have a business friendly economy. We are more likely to have secure borders. Better trade deals. Less abortion. Trump is the last best hope for conservative values in this country. Never Trumpers should not blow it for us.

You vote for him, your republic exists. You don’t vote for him, the country is gone. Simple as that.

I believe it was Dennis Prager, who said, to paraphrase, that among his last choices in the 2016 primaries was Trump. But that, in a binary general election, he supported Trump. When given the binary choice in the general election, he felt he needed to support the Republican nominee.

These never Trump types are willing to cut off nose to spite their face, so to speak, if they don’t support Trump in the election.

Would they really rather see Joe Biden and his Democrat VP and cabinet running this country? Because we know with 100% certainty that the president elected on Nov. 3 will be either Biden or Trump. So if you don’t support Trump, then by default you are supporting Biden.

Never Trumpers are dems in rino clothing.

You may not like the man, may disagree with what he does and how he does it, but voting against him is voting for Biden.

I voted for Trump in 2016. And I will do so again in 2020. He really is the last hope for this country. Should Biden - or a Biden substitute - win in 2020, it’s all over but the crying.

But don’t expect some Never-Trumper to respond to your request. Any such person would be crazy to do so. Because Free Republic has too often degenerated into a name-calling forum.

Consider the current police controversy. If you post a pro-police comment, you are a boot-licker. But if you post an anti-police comment, you are an anarchist.

Tis a shame. Because a good, polite conservative conversation can be both interesting and helpful.

It's because the DNC promised NeverTrumpers that their organs would be harvested last.

During the primaries the President wasn't my first choice,or even my second. But over the last 3.5 years it's become absolutely obvious to me that he's a better President than ILLary would have been...times 50.And I know that he'd be a better President than whoever the Rats nominate this year...times 50.

I've never "loved" any of the Presidents who've served in my lifetime...but I've greatly respected at least two...Reagan and Trump.

Never trumpers are looking to take control of the party back they absolutely hate the working class in this country the leader of the never trump movement Bill Kristol all but said this a few years back when he stated the Republican Party is the party of kings and why they
Push so much for amnesty on immigration issues ...they would soon see this party crash and burn and have like 20 seats in the house just as long as they control those 20 seats and let the working class just wither on the vine

I did not support Trump in the 2016 primaries. My guy was Scott Walker who, of course, was the first candidate out. But I supported and voted for Trump in the general.

When I discuss this with Nevertrumpers I explain we have a two party system. The election is not a referendum on Trump but a choice between two candidates. In my opinion Trump has made a way better President than Hillary ever would have even if I disagree with him on some issues.

Same issue in 2020, although the choice is even starker. The Dem base has become so radicalized and Biden is so weak if he even has all his faculties that if Biden wins and the Senate flips we would be in for a disastrous four years.

I wonder how the never Trumper’s would like to see the likes of a Stacy Abrahms or a Kamalla Harris ascend to the presidency.

Even the thought of that gives me the shivers.

Truth be told, initially I wasn't a never Trumper, more of a "at this point in time not so sure about Trumper". But by the time he won the primary I became very impressed and THANK G-D ALMIGHTY he won!

Is Prager that much of a rino that he couldn’t see early on that only Trump was touting the right agenda on the issues? His statement makes Trump out to be the last desparate ditch vote like Milt Romney was in ‘12.

No wonder I can’t listen to him prattle away on his radio show.

I subscribe to National Review. I find them to be, still, a good read when Trump isn't in the mix. When they cover something Trump does right, it always seems like they report the event, but...

I'm curious to see if they endorse Biden this year.
