I walked through that section of GG Park yesterday (Thursday). I admit that the thought occurred to me that those statues were not long for this world. But I didn’t expect them to come down in 24 hours. God help us.
Seems to be a political waiting game.
The statues can be replaced. Hopefully that will happen once the corporate #MeToo shenanigans come to an end.
I wonder what would happen if we got together and pulled down the ugly, shapeless, commie ‘art’ statues erected for the last 50 years?
FRiend, if we need to point out that Lincoln's pick to command the Union army was not a confederate, education failed us much earlier than we thought.
We can almost understand that with liberals but you'd expect a higher standard here.
All future statues, including those of President Trump, should be holographic and thus untoppleable.
