More hidden Trump support. How much of a Bradley factor is hidden in this result?

I think this is perhaps a little like

“Good news comrades! Your chocolate ration has been increased from 30 grams to 25 grams!”

Or it could just be that young journalism people are stupid and ignorant.

I’ll go with number 2

I finally came to a realization--the average Millennial Snowflake SJW has no freakin' idea who John Bell Hood or Braxton Bragg, or even Ambrose Powell Hill were. Hell, most of my age peers don't know who they were.

So, am I to believe that place names bestowed generations ago are pillars of systemic racism today when most people don't know the men behind the names?

As my late father and others have said, "There are some ideas so stupid that only intellectuals can believe them."

Bet your bottom dollar if it was a Dem/Lib cause, anything over 51% would be called an “overwhelming” majority...

Oops! They stumbled across the silent majority. Time to suppress this poll.

The President better stick to his words on this issue.

56% are for keeping the names. I think most don’t realize who these people were. As a retired Soldier and someone who mobilized out of Fort Bragg (and white), I am all for changing the names. These people took up arms against America and therefore were traitors. On top of that most, especially Braxton Bragg, were horrible generals. Actually, they were all horrible generals because their side lost.

I’d like to see these bases renamed after Americans who weren’t traitors and were either winning generals or medal of honor awardees. Here are my suggestions;
1) Fort John Pershing
2) Fort Dwight Eisenhower
3) Fort Ulysses S. Grant (I find it ridiculous that we have a fort named after Lee who was a traitor and not for the man that defeated him and saved America)
4)Fort Roy Benavidez (Medal of Honor awardee)
5)Fort William Henry Carney (Medal of Honor awardee)

I think all Americans can get behind these names.

I got that same lineup from a neighbor, who is just a tiny bit shy of Communist.

Really? Surprised by that. I’d think they would want Fort Marx or Fort Lenin. Well even a broken clock is right twice a day.

I served 20+ years in the military. Started in the Marines and retired from the Army. Always thought it was dumb to have bases named after men who took up arms against America. Then to top it off most of them were horrible generals. I say rename them after Americans who weren’t traitors and who were good generals or earned the nations highest award for valor.

Near impossible to find something that doesn’t have his name on it.

I’m surprised he hasn’t thrown his hands up and said the heck with it. I don’t need this. I’ve been pretty optimistic my whole life, but I’m to the point I do think we are finished as a nation. At least the nation we once were.

As soon as their names were changed, the Democrats will vote to close them!
