As with the statues, who cares what the people think. Well do it anyway
“In addition, an even larger plurality of Americans 73 percent”
Since when is 73% a plurality and not a majority?
I don’t really mind, they are all statues of Democrats anyway ...
Does not make any difference what the majority want.
This is narrow minded way of thinking, sorry but I get so tired of people here saying “they’re all democrats anyway.” Do not think it’s going to stop with names and symbols of the Confederacy, as you can see what’s happening now.
When do we begin to remove Robert “KKK” Byrd’s name from everything in West Virginia?
Who’s war was it anyway? Ask them?
Where is POTUS? I mean the statue issue is a winner, being against defunding the police, being strong law and order and rebuilding the economy to it was pre Corona, this should be his message. Not pandering with stupid Juneteenth stuff. I don’t know who’s advice he’s taking, but they need to just step back and see what’s really bothering people.
A substantial majority opposes changing the names of bases, a resounding majority opposes abolishing the police or defunding the police, the majority blame China for the virus. Yet, FOX and all the others tell us that Biden is leading Trump. Biden, the senile basement dweller, who supports changing the names, supports attacks on the police and doesn’t blame China for the virus. Do they think we are that stupid to believe that?
Trump made a big deal about this issue. This poll shows that Americans listened to what he had to say, that keeping the base names would respect the soldiers who served out of these bases before going into combat.
Doesn’t matter.
ONLY Black Lives Matter.
Put me down as adamantly opposing. Same for reparations.
Excellent question. The crew with this assignment has a job for life. Byrd's name is everywhere in WV.
Minorities is where it's at. /sarc
Trump starting to find his “wedge issues”.
Wouldn’t surprise me to see his poll numbers starting to turn around soon.
Exactly. Law and order, not defunding the police, and the preserving monuments and their names, these all are issues that are winners for him.
He can also brag about the state of the economy pre corona, His message should be who do you think would best lead us back to that economy, me or Biden.
I think this is perhaps a little like
"Good news comrades! Your chocolate ration has been increased from 30 grams to 25 grams!"
Or it could just be that young journalism people are stupid and ignorant.
Agreed. 73% is a Super Majority ... as in capable of overriding vetos majority.
