I think this is perhaps a little like

"Good news comrades! Your chocolate ration has been increased from 30 grams to 25 grams!"

Or it could just be that young journalism people are stupid and ignorant.

Agreed. 73% is a Super Majority ... as in capable of overriding vetos majority.

Bet your bottom dollar if it was a Dem/Lib cause, anything over 51% would be called an “overwhelming” majority...
