IIRC those lyrics were written by a gay man, so that would make them Homophobes.
“Its barbaric, but hey, its home.”
Sounds like California.
I always thought magic carpet ride was a sexual euphemism/slang thing ... :)
Go ahead burn everything
Scheherazade is speechless....................
It was a paean to LSD..............
Effingbabies. If you dont like it....dont watch it.
This is the offensive line? I always thought it was the one that went, "... a dark man waits with a dark purpose..."
Yes, Aladdin 2019 is so, 2019. This is 2020. When have progressed so much since 2019! Anyone with 2019 attitudes is an old reactionary!
We have progressed so much since 2019, is what I meant. And this is not 2020, more like Orwell’s 1984.
It is funny. Disney started making movies to include racial groups of each so called race. Aladdin was for the middle Eastern of course. We have Mulan, and, there was a black princess in a movie so forgettable that I forgot its name. They then began to make movies where the heroines are kind of riot grrrrrls, all very feminist. The men in them are kinda useless or stupid.
Instead of entertaining, although there were occasional good moments and songs, they are just politically correct semi stories.
So its hard to be sorry about Aladdin. I think the last really good Disney movie was Little Mermaid. Change my mind!
I love when the left eats it’s own.
Wait until Amazon tells Google, Twitter, and FB about your book buying habits!!!!
The perverts were already there. There is a dildo in the castle and the preacher has an erection.

FYI,
What have the artists said about the song?
In an interview with Marc Myers for the book Anatomy of a Song, John Kay said,
I didnt drop acid before writing the lyrics, as many people have assumed. And the lyrics werent about an acid trip. I may have smoked a joint that night, but that was it. Since birth, Ive had achromatopsia: complete color blindness. If I had dropped acid, I would have been hallucinating in vivid black and white. I doubt that would have helped me or the song very much.
Yeah they were there. But the movie was really good and not strained for political correctness.
so in order to ‘fight racism’ everyone is demanding that all cultural depictions of people and fables and characters be removed from sight? Leaving only depictions of white folks only in media now? Gee- that’ll teach everyone not to be racist-
