deBozo needs to pre-position social workers on the street corners, so that everybody feels loved.

Yeah, that’ll work.

AWESOME ....Escape From New York meets Idiocracy, It reads like a sci-Fi horror film....

seriously though I think metro police should have third party oversight and accountability, with a "consitution" that establishes ASTM type standards for Rules of Engagement, minimum standards for training and continuing education, higher pay, and mandatory long vacation "hiatus periods" to allow de-stressing and collaboration with real life

NO MORE OF THIS " We are not here for the protection of the public" "us against them" crap

What ever became of the rumor that 400 NYPD were going to resign, en masse, a week ago?

Strike for a week. People have short memories, they need an impact.

Who runs Bartertown?

The police union better have a very large strike fund. New York’s Taylor law makes strikes by public employees illegal and imposes very large fines for every day on strike.

Typical Rick Moran. He has an irritating habit of taking another article (this time from the NY Post) and adding his comments. I keep waiting for him to do some original reporting...

I call him Mr. Bookend.

When police in Toronto, Canada went on strike some years ago, there was bedlam until the army was called in to restore order.
