Trump Campaign Ad Uses Antifa Symbol, But the Symbol Has a Disgusting Nazi Backstory...
PJ Media ^ | 06/18/2020 | Tyler O'Neil

On Thursday, Facebook removed a Trump campaign ad condemning the lootingvandalism, and arson across America that destroyed black lives, black livelihoods, and black monuments, because the Trump campaign displayed a symbol used to denote political prisoners in Adolf Hitler’s concentration camps. The campaign used the symbol to condemn antifa and other leftist militants, claiming the symbol represents antifa. Facebook said the symbol violated its “policy against organized hate.”

“Dangerous MOBS of far-left groups are running through our streets and causing absolute mayhem,” the ad began. “They are DESTROYING our cities and rioting — it’s absolute madness. It’s very important that EVERY American comes together at a time like this to send a united message that we will not stand for their radical actions any longer. We’re calling on YOU to make a public statement and add your name to stand with President Trump against ANTIFA.”

Beneath the ad, the Trump campaign included a red upside-down triangle, the New York Daily News reported.

Schutzstaffel, the German Nazi soldiers who ran the concentration camps, sewed badges with that symbol onto the sleeves of political prisoners, including socialists, social democrats, communists, and anarchists. They also sewed that symbol on the sleeves of trade unionists, Freemasons, and people who tried to rescue Jews.

A Facebook spokesman told the Daily News that the platform scrubbed the ad due to the Nazi connection.

“We removed these posts and ads for violating our policy against organized hate,” the spokesman said. “Our policy prohibits using a banned hate group’s symbol to identify political prisoners without the context that condemns or discusses the symbol.”

Trump campaign spokesman Ken Farnaso claimed the campaign used the symbol because antifa uses it. “The red triangle is an Antifa symbol,” he told the Daily News, including links to online retail stores

Is that legitimately a Nazi symbol?

Many of the original German Antifas in the 30s became hardcore Nazis.

Antifa is comprised primarily of 20- and 30-something white snowflake public school teachers and social workers who were so smart they buried themselves in $100,000 of student loan debt for a Mickey Mouse degree and a Eurorail summer, all for $30,000 a year jobs.

Then they burn down black neighborhoods in the name of anti-racism.

True. Roland Freisler, the hanging judge after Hitler’s assassination attempt, was a hard core Communist after WW I. Joseph Goebbels took the Socialist in National Socialist seriously.

The street thugs interchanged between the Commies and Brown Shirts, depending on who had the better beer.

““The inverted red triangle is a symbol used by Antifa, so it was included in an ad about Antifa,” Trump campaign Communications Director Tim Murtaugh insisted. “We would note that Facebook still has an inverted red triangle emoji in use, which looks exactly the same, so it’s curious that they would target only this ad.””

Doh!

Trump Campaign troll works again.

Hello media suckers, you just in inadvertently have shown a little more light on the rats.

The Antifa Flag and symbolism shown in the pictures on the right are compared with their 1933 Nazi symbolism on the left. It's not a coincidence.

The Nazis used different upside down, colored triangles for different groups in the camps. Red was for political, such as communists or anarchists. I knew this for decades, but I did much self-study of the Holocaust years ago.

How the Nazi Regime's Pink Triangle Symbol Was Repurposed for LGBTQ Pride

Some triangles are more equal than others.

And hard core Nazies captured by Soviets turned stalinists to get protection from Russians as war criminals were called antifa.

Then you had Mussolini who marveled at Lenin and wanted to mimic him, using the war politically to take over Italy.

After the 1932 summer election in Germany, there is this sequence of events that occur, and the Communist Party (probably making up 15-percent of German vote) is under threat of non-existence.

The intellectual side (out of the Frankfurt University) pack up and basically leave for Columbia University in NY City, and will remain there until after the war, then return and re-ignite their recruitment drive in the university system of Germany.

From the Communist Party itself of Germany....a fair number of them evacuate to USSR. Within four years, they will become part of the purge-group with some of them executed by Stalin, and the rest sent to Siberia.

So then you have the remainder of the hardcore Communist group that remains in Germany, which becomes Antifa. It made perfect sense to be anti-fascist in this sense. But as the war ended, Antifa underwent evolution and came out in the late 1960s of Germany....basically becoming elements of the Red Army Faction.

Once that effort collapsed after the unification of Germany (1990 era), there’s the next evolution where the black-clothing Antifa emerges, which is highly anti-commerce, anti-capitalistic, etc. They exist mostly in the highly urbanized regions of Germany today, and connect back to the university system.
