WASHINGTON — Justin Walker epitomizes the conservative judicial project. He became a federal judge at 37 with no trial experience and sterling right-wing credentials. Eight months later, he has been promoted to the powerful U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, a frequent feeder to the Supreme Court.
Walker’s confirmation Thursday by a Senate vote of 51 to 42 puts President Donald Trump one shy of his 200th judicial confirmation, which is teed up for next week. It’s a number not achieved by any president at this stage in four decades.
A Harvard J.D., Walker’s meteoric rise was aided by his Kentucky ties to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, a family friend for whom he once interned, and his outspoken conservatism — just two years ago he called the 2012 Supreme Court ruling to uphold Obamacare “catastrophic.”
“He’s sort of the classic case. They’ve designed their perfect judicial nominee: He’s young, white, male and incredibly conservative with a record of activism to back it up,” said Chris Kang, a co-founder of the progressive group Demand Justice and former deputy counsel to President Barack Obama.

Democrats will impeach every one of the Trump Judges as “Illegal” when they take over. Even as they expand the Supreme Court to sixteen. They will write a new Constitution with “Social Justice” Bean counting rules and total destruction of the Middle Class. The Good News, with China now the first nation in the world—They can fight all the wars in Africa, Asia and the Middle East—Let then shoulder the Yellow Man’s Burden for a while. We can rebuild the USA into the Worker’s Paradise so beloved by the Left.

That’s a crock of you know what. All these judges are activists and lean to the wrong side, every stinking I e of em. They all have Yale or Harvard pedigrees and have been indoctrinated.
I’m interested in hearing about activists that are pushing for Donald Trumps reelection. All the judges in the world won’t matter if we lose the country to senile Joe and the VP who will succeed him.
I’m tired of watching all the conservative people getting bullied, beaten etc without a backbone strong enough to fight back. The conservative people in our country today are afraid to fight back except from behind their keyboards. When did we become such pansies? It’s beyond time for the younger conservatives to fight, fight like their life depends upon it, because it does. They need to activate and ensure ALL conservative voters get to the polls in November.
Our country is spiraling down the drain and its disheartening to watch it. To know my kids and grandkids will be growing up in a dustbin of what was once the greatest country on the planet.
Yes I am frustrated, yes I am mad. If every single conservative does not vote in this election for President Trump we are done and not one judge will matter because they don’t care about the Constitution any longer!
I’m sure that they’re all going to be great for megacorps, maybe not so good for the social fabric.

In one term, Trump has almost completely undone the damage Obama did to the federal courts in his two terms. If Trump wins reelection and the Republicans hold the Senate, we can actually make real progress instead of just doing damage repair.
Yes I am hoping Trump is saving Barrett to replace Ginsburg.
He hasn’t been a bust, just made a couple of bad decisions.
A lot of work needed to done on the SC, we need at least one more Liberal to retire and be replaced with a solid conservative. I expect that to happen in the 2nd term
