One grocery store chain is under fire for telling a teenaged employee that he was not permitted to wear a mask with Black Lives Matter messaging. A Publix in Lehigh Acres, Florida informed the young man that he would have to go home to change out of the politically charged mask, as it was not permitted by the company uniform policy.
"At Publix, we reject racism and believe diversity makes our company — and our community — better," said Publix spokeswoman Maria Brous. "Our focus remains on ensuring a welcoming work and shopping environment for all associates and customers. Our uniform policy does not permit non-Publix messaging on clothing or accessories."

I live 5 miles from there. I don’t think the community will allow it. In fact, they may be looking for an excuse to show their muscle.
When Nike and the others started hypocritical phony caring as virtue signaling after carefully comparing moneymaking impacts, they should have been stopped.
Now it’s part of our Civil War II to have to decide whom to boycott (at least in this cold war phase-—not counting shots fired and stores burned down by BLM and Antifa). My daughter works at a Publix in North Alabama. Same thing - some girl showed up with a BLM mask. They sent her home and instituted a policy that masks can only be a solid color, so they’re not targeting BLM. Kind of bummed out my daughter as she had a pretty patterned mask.
