What do you recommend for the first time gun buyer wishing to spend $500 -$700?

It’s becoming harder and harder to have all of these boating accidents. On some lakes you have to take a number and wait till your pager/buzzer goes off.

Ruger Security 9 handgun if you can find one, $340
Maverick 88 Security shotgun $250, again, if you can find one.

The surge in gun sales is one sign of an ascent out of madness!

The madness of liberalism and democrats is what caused gun sales to skyrocket.

People are afraid of losing their freedom, their country, and their lives.

When the pendulum swings, sometimes it hurts.

Madness? In the current climate I would call it survival instinct.

"There is no way whatsoever that should the Dem's take both houses and the WH with Biden that even should they somehow remove the 2nd. Amendment that they'll be able to confiscate all the guns in America. I think folks will be a bit surly should they attempt it."

Democrat voters are now rabid and are wanting conservatives to be hurt as much as possible, especially with violence. Democrat politicians are obviously intending to deliver on that. The more violence, cruelty and unlawful action against conservatives, the better in their minds and actions.

The tactics used to confiscate the firearms will be surprising to all who have consumed popular entertainment and their own unrealistic assumptions. The tactics will be incremental but steady, very widespread, and will be carried out all over the country. Local media outlets will have their propaganda machines ready.

Confiscations and arrests in each locale will be followed by local media announcements portraying every arrestee or dead resister as being extremely repugnant, ugly and dangerous to all. Laws that will have been passed by Democrats unopposed by voters too cowardly to so much as put decals on their cars will assure that the arrestees are all found guilty and spend the rest of their lives in a rapidly expanding prison industry.

And people who are too cowardly to display signs, decals, caps and shirts promoting Republicans for election will certainly be too cowardly to fight against suddenly opportunistic and pliable local police, not to mention newly hired federal officers (see federal pork to local governments, Clintons, 1990s). And remember that lawyers in every kind of judicial position will do whatever they can to get more influence and money.

So we'd better get the vote out, and every one of us had best contribute whatever little money and time to Republican candidates--especially the President.

It would be madness not to get a gun now if you’ve been so short sighted as to not have a well stocked arsenal already.

Normal, rational people fear for their safety in these times. There’s simply no end in sight for the madness coming from the Left.

Try to find any buckshot lately? It’s scarce.

So is 9 mm. I need to buy a box (don't need 5 boxes) so I'm not naked when I head down to Gonzales on Friday.

BLM says they're having a "peaceful protest" at the Confederate Memorial on Friday.

I'm going because I understand the history and importance of Gonzales, TX in the Revolution for Texas Independence. I'm also there for the principle that we should not whitewash history.

The same people who until recently insisted only the police should have guns and that you need to rely on them are often now saying we do not need police...
