Inside the D.C.-New York information bubble, Donald Trump is a gone goose, Senate Republicans are toast, and Democrats will control the House, Senate, and White House after Election Day in November.
That’s a reality being buttressed by dozens of polls showing Joe Biden winning handily nationally, and ahead in traditional battleground states.
Democrats have already begun to gloat — in between groveling before the mob and planning their “transformation” of American society.
But Republicans outside of that nest of vipers are a lot more sanguine about Trump’s chances.
Interviews with more than 50 state, district and county Republican Party chairs depict a version of the electoral landscape that is no worse for Trump than six months ago and possibly even slightly better. According to this view, the coronavirus is on its way out and the economy is coming back. Polls are unreliable, Joe Biden is too frail to last, and the media still doesnt get it.
The more bad things happen in the country, it just solidifies support for Trump, said Phillip Stephens, GOP chairman in Robeson County, N.C., one of several rural counties in that swing state that shifted from supporting Barack Obama in 2012 to Trump in 2016. Were calling him Teflon Trump. Nothings going to stick, because if anything, its getting more exciting than it was in 2016.
This year, Stephens said, Were thinking landslide.
The tenor of the Politico article is incredulity along with a mocking condescension. No, the media doesn’t “get it.” They haven’t “gotten it” for four years and they will go to their graves “not getting it.”

You’d have to be as senile as Joe to want him to be President.
Democrats will control the House, Senate, and White House after Election Day in November.
That scenario is not possible.
I find it difficult to believe the DNC will allow Biden to continue. I think their plan is to replace him either before or after he picks his VP, then they will demand a delay in the election either for a total redo of their primary OR with or without including who Biden had picked for the VP. When a delay is denied, dems will cry “voter surpression”
I saw some terrific Trump election spots on TV yesterday
Joe did not come off well :)
Actual election results in November 1980 Reagan won in a landslide:
Reagan won 44 states
Jimmy Carter won 6 states + DC
That’s the blueprint I have anticipated from the instant Joe was ‘nominated’
Democrats will control the House, Senate, and White House after Election Day in November.
Then the Mayans were right, they just got the year wrong.
Anything is possible. But I agree that the scenario is highly unlikely.
Thats the blueprint I have anticipated from the instant Joe was nominated
Same here. From day one
RE: Harris poll earlier in 1980:
Jimmy Carter 59%
Ronald Reagan 36%

How many months before the 1980 elections was that poll?
The Demwits already know this, they have known this since the Kavanaugh smears didn't work, and they're already saying "don't believe those polling results" showing big leads for Biden because they know the poll results are made-up BS.
Election fraud may play a major role this time around. No cops, ANTIFA could very well be controlling the streets in front of the voting places where more conservative people vote
They will. As long as he's breathing Biden will be the nominee.
I think their plan is to replace him either before or after he picks his VP...
How?
...then they will demand a delay in the election either for a total redo of their primary OR with or without including who Biden had picked for the VP.
Election day date is set by law. It can't be changed except by Congress and what do you think the chance of that is?
When a delay is denied, dems will cry voter surpression
If the Democrats lose they're going to say it's because of voter suppression anyway. If the Republicans lose they're going to say it's because of voter fraud. That's the only guarantee in this whole election.
The media haven't gotten it in over 40 years. Newsweek thought Cater was going to win in a landslide in 1980.
Reagan was too “far right” to win apparently.
Instead it was Reagan that destroyed Carter. The media have always pushed left wing agenda driven narratives.
I sincerely hope they are correct about this, but we cannot take anything for granted (Hillary was supposed to win in a landslide, too.) We cannot afford to become complacent and assume that President Trump will easily cruise to victory. We must approach this election with the mindset that it will be a dogfight every step of the way, and we must fight for every single vote until the polls close on election day. The left has spent the last four years doing everything they can think of to undermine the president and drive him out of office. They know this is their last chance. They're not about to give up now.
Nope. Cannot be done.

I can only say what I think the dems have up their sleeve. I refuse to get into their minds any deeper than that. There is no common sense in anything they’ve been doing. I just don’t think Biden is going to be the final candidate in their plans.

Amen to that!!
What you think the Democrats have up their sleeve is impossible.
I just dont think Biden is going to be the final candidate in their plans.
He may not be their ideal candidate but he's what they've got.
