Who was the mysterious Umbrella Man and is he a cop?
Speculation had social media buzzing Friday after an unidentified man in a gas mask and carrying an open umbrella smashed the windows of an AutoZone with a hammer during Thursday’s riots in Minneapolis.
According to video, protesters seemed to know immediately the man was an impostor.
The incident has since gone viral on social media with the hashtag #UmbrellaMan.

How did they know that? His window-hammering technique was all wrong? He was saying “I FART in the general direction of the police” instead of the normal F-word?

With any luck they got enough footage of this a-hole to arrest him and do a deep dive on his computer (but I’m not holding my breath).
It’s sort of having a war where creepy a-holes show up just because they like killing people. There seem to be people showing up just because they enjoy destroying other people’s workplaces. Who shops at AutoZone? Black, white, brown, pretty much any given time you show up the clientele will be pretty diverse.
