One of many common modern constitutional fallacies is the feds are allowed unconstitutional acts against the target (states, localities, free enterprise, individuals, etc.), as long as they provide federal funds to the target.

But unless the Constitution has delegated a specific enumerated power to the feds, there is no legitimate authorization for the act. The PEOPLE and the STATES via the Constitution CREATED the feds and DELEGATED certain LIMITED enumerated powers to the feds. If a specific delegation isn’t in the Constitution, the feds have no legitimate power in that area.

Nowhere does the Constitution allow unconstitutional federal action based on federal funding.

This is a really treacherous idea and one the enemies of our Free Constitutional Republic love. All the feds have to do to become a basic unlimited, totalitarian power is to fund whatever they want to control.

Ignorance of constitutional limitations on the feds and/or indifference towards it, has allowed widespread legal heresy and confusion, and such confusion is the only reason we are now under a federal government that has become a totalitarian regime.

Have you taken a quick look at the history of my posts which tend to be controversial (but these days the truth is VERY controversial)?

If so, and you still love or want me, that is amazing.

My theme is basically stated in my tagline - to do whatever I can by God’s spirit to influence :

1) Earnestly contending for the true Gospel of the Grace of Christ which was once delivered to the saints (Jude 3), and

2) Restoring America’s Free Constitutional Republic

I believe we are in the end times and Jesus is coming very soon for his saints (in a few decades IMO). His coming as a thief in the night for his saints will mark the (temporary) end of the Age of Acceptance (grace) and trigger the Day of Vengeance (Daniel’s 70th week - the unimaginable horrors of the 7-year tribulation of the wrath of the Lamb) (Isaiah 61:2).

I believe God in his love and mercy wants to sweep the world once more for souls before it all comes down (Luke 14:22-23). I also believe God has raised America up for such a time as this - to facilitate this soon-coming worldwide re-awaking as a light around the world.

That’s what these flood of satanic attacks these days are all about. As usual, Satan in his Johnny-come-lately role, is trying to assert his power and stop what God has already started, just like he did upon the birth of Jesus when Satan had all the boys killed who were two years and younger. But as then, so now, nothing will stop God in his purpose.

Let us pray that God will raise up America once more for this purpose and that the true grace of our Lord Jesus Christ will flood and capture his people to spread the really good news of the grace of Christ - something for which the world is desperately hungry - that the Master’s house might be full (Luke 14:23).

What about officer’s right to protect themselves, the community, if a person steals the officers weapon? Any mention of that?

If you’ve read my posts, you’ll see I discuss A LOT, so this may not be a good fit.

I believe in payer based on the knowledge and declaration of grace and truth. My ministry is mostly in the spoken word but prayer in faith is definitely part of it.

Prayer warriors, not prayer worriers, are needed. Faith and trust in a mighty God who has said, “It is finished” is also needed.

Believers need to understand we are fighting and praying FROM victory, not praying for victory. Begging God doesn’t cut it. The battle is the Lord’s and He’s already won. We just enter into and flow in his finished works including prayer.

Right, so if your theory became the prevailing way for interpreting the constitution, it would be unconstitutional for the federal govt to provide grants to cities to help fund police officers. That makes sense to me.

I’m talking about the law today. Under current jurisprudence, if the federal gov’t is funding something, they can set conditions related to the thing being funded. They couldn’t order police departments to not use a chokehold - that would violate the 10th amendment - but they can withhold police grants to cities who permit chokeholds to be used. Then it’s up to the city to choose between rejecting the condition and the money or taking the money with strings.
