Did you hear about the new way for local government to generate revenue?
After businesses began pulling out of cities overtaken by liberals, socialists and left-wing mobs, leaders had to come up with a new way, a creative strategic initiative, to pay the bills since tax revenue had been depleted.
Leaders are apparently taking a piece from the NASCAR playbook and putting business sponsor logos on roadways in massive letters. Like sponsor logos, but different. And theyre starting in Washington, D.C.
Wait, that cant be whats happening. If they promoted one political party, movement, or cause, theyd have to give fair exposure to all others, right?
Not in Washington, D.C. apparently.
Welcome to the new America.
Pastor Rich Penkoski, former judge advocate general Chris Sevier, and D.C. lobbyist Tex Christopher are leading the way with a lawsuit against the Mayor of Washington, D.C., Muriel Bowser, who last week ordered Black Lives Matter to be painted in large letters on the street two block down from the White House (Washington Examiner).
Heres the truth: Black lives do matter. They do. And right now, maybe we need to give a bit more of an ear to the conversation and listen.
But for the Mayor of Washington, D.C. to order the street-sized letters to be painted on the roadways funded by taxpayer dollars, while not permitting other causes to be represented in the same manner, is not just nor is it fair.
Not to mention, its not a good use of taxpayer money. Especially right now on the heels of a near-national economical shut down.
The mixed messages sent by Mayor Muriel Bowser are unhealthy for our nation and further divide people of all races. Now is the time to promote a message of unity, to create conversations that lead to healing, and

BLMs a corporation
Turds just followed suit in Brooklyn and did the same thing to a street there.
Who paid for the paint?
BLM = Burn, Loot, Murder
Just got some black paint and paint over the V and leave the rest. Its very simple.
What was that “occupy” movement in NYC that eventually dissipated to little or no effect? This, too, shall pass.
Muriel Bowser (woof, woof) should be thrown head first into a jail cell for the crap she pulls.
BLM isn’t about helping black people. It’s all about raising money for hard left democrat candidates.
I wonder if the mayor would allow “Liberty and Justice for All”. Nah, too inclusive. And “Liberty” for everyone is probably a non-starter to her - it might make people think they could have freedom of speech or freedom of association. Can’t have that.
“Who paid for it?”
Not her LOL!
Or have Street Outlaws do smoky burnouts and donuts all over that “artwork”.
what if someone wrote
white lives matter
or
red lives matter
or
all lives matter
on a street somewhere? what would be the reactions?
by reciprocity, it should be perfectly ok and even expected by a government that writes the black lives matter slogan anywhere.
if it’s not perfectly ok, then i think it is inciting revolution in some way.
By definition, the wording “Black” lives matter, is a derogatory and racist term for human beings on a government sponsored message, and by true definition it supports an ‘ideological’ movement - no different than the Government of Texas painting “Conservative Lives Matter” streets. Additionally, “Black “does not legally nor descriptively accurately signify any “race” or “ethnicity”, solely the general and ‘divisive’ description for the color of someone’s skin. Just like “white” or “yellow” or “red”, or any color. Much can be litigated here.
Nothing "mixed" about her messages. Blatant favoritism. Blatant hypocrisy.
Not to mention that she used city workers for political purposes...a definite no-no.
From a USA Today article: Washington D.C.'s mayor renamed a street near the White House "Black Lives Matter Plaza" Friday and directed city crews to paint a huge mural..."
Once upon a time this used to be a crime. It was called “graffiti” or “vandalism.”
I’m glad she’s being called on this. Yes, it is an act that further divides people. All lives matter, not just one race.
How else would she expect other races to take that?
