Pfc. Vanessa Guillen, 20, was last seen in the middle of a workday April 22 in the parking lot of the Regimental Engineer Squadron Headquarters at Fort Hood.
The soldiers identification card, wallet and the keys to her car and base apartment were later found in the armory room where she had been earlier in the day, Army officials have said.
While Vanessa Guillens family had been initially reluctant to speculate about how she disappeared, they are now pointing fingers at her Fort Hood superiors.
Lupe Guillen said her sister had confided to the family that she was being sexually harassed before her disappearance.
Lupe said Guillens mother has the name of at least one superior officer who the soldier accused of harassment, but she doesnt want to publicize that information just yet.

There are lots of places to hide a body off and on the base.

Why not just change the names of all the forts named after confederate generals to Farts as in Fart A.P. Hill.

When I was a JAG Officer, one of my duties was to keep the trainee abuse records on the post. Nothing’s changed, apparently.

Back in ‘69 many of us in my BCT company at Fort Knox were taken behind the barracks and had the tar beaten out of us by our junior drill sgt...just back from his second tour of Vietnam.I wish that I knew of people like you.Was it your job to prosecute stuff like that?

About the same time there was an asst DI at Parris Island who clearly had seen to much combat (3 tours) but he was also super Marine having been awarded the Navy Cross and two Silver Stars. He enjoyed brutal back of the barracks beat downs on smaller guys (thing about Viets I guess). One basic platoon had a black recruit who was a real moose. When the Ast DI told a very small and intimidate white recruit to fall out for ‘private instruction’ Pvt Moose also, after waiting about five minutes, moseyed behind the barracks. Cpl Psycho was having his fun until then. The Moose ended Psycho's reign of terror and marine Corps career. He smashed most of the facial bones, broke the collar bone in multiple places, fractured ribs, and smashed Psycho's right arm so badly he would never lift it above his chest again.
Now for the disgusting part, sort of. Pvt Moose was brought up on courts marshal and the board was brass heavy. They awarded Moose 6 months in the brig and a fine. End of story. Everybody in the battalion and the brass at regiment knew about Cpl Psycho, but no one would take action against a ‘highly decorated combat veteran.

Fort Hood has had several cases of women being trafficked/pimped out by their Superior Officers. This case hasn’t gotten the attention it deserves.

I know enough about the Marines that I'm not surprised that Cpl Psycho existed or surprised by what happened to Pvt Moose. Our Sgt Psycho told us about his tours in Vietnam and I remember that he had a Combat Infantry Badge...which you don't get by being a supply clerk at Fort Benning.
Who knows what kind of guy Cpl Psycho...or Sgt Psycho...was before Vietnam? But I've heard it said that combat has a way of changing a guy...often not for the better.
P.S., I just checked my BCT "Yearbook" and see that in addition to his Combat Infantry Badge our Sgt Psycho had about a half dozen other ribbons...don't know what any of them stand for but it's unlikely that any of them were a Good Conduct Medal.
