Comedian Dave Chappelle addressed the police involved death of George Floyd in an emotional, near-30 minute Netflix special titled 8:46, ripping conservative commentator Candace Owens, Fox News host Laura Ingraham, and declaring, ironically, that America doesnt need to hear celebrities speak out right now.

TOO not to. Doh!
At least he criticizes both sides.....................
Yep, we know Chappelle isn’t one of us, but at least he does attack the hypocrisy of the Left.
Someone was comparing him to george carlin. I told them carlin was funny. That’s the whole point.
He was just sharing his opinion, such that it is, on a situation he does not have full knowledge on.
i.e. it was a pointless video.
The same guy that said he moved to the country, and one day bought a shotgun because he saw someone trespassing? The same guy that went after Jussie Smollet?
I guess he thinks he is buying protection by saying this? LOL!
Chappelle still has to make some compromises to keep his gig.
At least he didn’t go full cuck, like Chris Rock did.
Chapelle has done some of the most racist and funniest skits I have ever seen.
The special he did last year making fun of LBQTXZ and also Jussie Smollet was hilarious.
Another reason I also say that Eddie Murphy was smart to stop doing standup comedy when he did.
I wonder if he is upset about whites that get killed by the police? Or are they just a statistic?
He knows what it would do to his career if he said anything like “All Lives Matter”, he’s not prepared to go there.
The climate is just too poisonous right now.
Chappelle’s reparations skit was hilarious - the stock market impact as millions of phone bills in arrears were paid off and such. A commentator described how eager the black people seemed to give all the money back by shopping...
“Hide the money y’all there’s poor people around...hahahahaha....Witcha broke ass!”
“In another story, the crime rate went down to zero percent.....How could that be, did the Mexicans get reparations, too?”
Carlin wasn’t very funny. Unless you think watching his baseball monologue 20 times and him complaining about gold courses is funny.
He was an angry old leftist. He didn’t go out too well.
Chapelle is on the other hand at times, a riot, pardon the pun. Guy is so funny partly because he can say and point at what others can’t because he’s black.
He knows it, tars and feathers the Left which is almost sacrosanct these days from occurring.
So there’s a big amount of attention on Chappelle simply because he’ll pop the political correct ballon at least once but it’s always more than once.
His commentary on the “Frenchman” Jussie Smow-lee is hilarious and when he voices skepticism about MAGA hats in Chicago while most black folk stood quietly back saying nothing was sheer genius.
It really was.
Candace Owens would verbally shred him.
Probably could have at 5 years old.
“The special he did last year making fun of LBQTXZ and also Jussie Smollet was hilarious.”
Yup. “MAGA hats. MAGA hats, in Chicago?”
I think he ended the Frenchman, Jussie Smollet’s career right there.
I think carlin was hilarious, and I’m so far to the right I left the R party. Conservatives can laugh - even at themselves.
His video on germs was a HUGE hit during this virus nonsense.
Carlin’s political commentary was funny. Listen to the crowd. Chapelle was lecturing and ranting.
That being said, I’m a big fan of both of them. But this video was just Chapelle using his noteriety to vent. He went down a couple of notches for me.
Haven’t watched this one and probably won’t. Sounds like Dave has gone nasty and is trying to hit back and slam the “right” here by savaging two women.
This way he gets some street cred back but I think it’s a cheap out and a miss.
That’s how it goes sometimes. I’m not endorsing it and I’ll leave it at that.
Dave and professional athletes know it isnt about skin color it is the color of money. Dream big dont let skin color limit your talent.not everyone has to chase a ball.
