WASHINGTON — When Republicans read the platform their party is using for the 2020 campaign, they may be surprised to see that it is full of condemnations of the sitting president.
“The survival of the internet as we know it is at risk,” the platform reads. “Its gravest peril originates in the White House, the current occupant of which has launched a campaign, both at home and internationally, to subjugate it to agents of government.”
The warning about speech online is one of more than three dozen unflattering references to either the “current president,” “current chief executive,” “current administration,” people “currently in control” of policy, or the “current occupant” of the White House that appear in the Republican platform. Adopted at the party’s 2016 convention, it has been carried over through 2024 after the executive committee of the Republican National Committee on Wednesday chose not to adopt a new platform for 2020.

Oh wait, it was written in 2016, so the ‘slurs’ are about Obama. But they absolutely should have rewritten it to stop the possible reference to Trump.

The platform for this year’s Presidential election HAS NOT BEEN WRITTEN, nor has it been adopted.

To Wit: Judge Emmet Sullivan. Such are the stakes of having the entire Mueller FARCE thrown out and liable for a suit against the agency who put it out— that single handedly (not really-— the desperate left lawyers and fakirs) a Judge thinks he can still sentence someone against whom the prosecuting party as dropped the case... for governmental wrong doing of seriously CRIMINAL nature. The judge has joined the criminals and thinks he can be judge, prosecutor and jury and try the case all himself. He is headed for a very rude AWAKENING.
Sure seems to me that just a few days after Kushner was tasked by the President with updating the platform, the RNC slaps him in the face by re-issuing the 2016 platform unchanged.

Biden’s staff has had a bunch of failures with his telecommunications and whatnot. Makes Biden look like he can’t find decent people to support him.
If the GOP really issued a 2020 platform document that is a complete retread from 2016, then they don’t look any better than Biden’s team.
