Companies including T-Mobile and Papa John's Pizza are distancing themselves from Tucker Carlson's television show on Fox News after the conservative host's dismissive comments about the Black Lives Matters movement.
The backlash intensified after Carlson on Monday offered an inflammatory take on the nationwide anti-racism demonstrations that have followed the death of George Floyd at the hands of former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin.
"This may be a lot of things, this moment we're living through, but it is definitely not about black lives, and remember that when they come for you, and at this rate, they will," Carlson told viewers on June 8, the first day of Floyd's memorial in his adopted hometown of Houston.
Asked by a Twitter user the next day if Carlson's message was one T-Mobile supported, CEO Mike Sievert tweeted back, "It definitely is not. Bye-bye Tucker Carlson! #BlackLivesMatter."
In fact, the telecom said in a subsequent tweet that it had cut ties with Carlson in early May, noting that it had "cancelled all future placements" and that T-Mobile will "continue to support those who stand against racial injustice."

Truth is racist
A: Nope.
I’m already boycotting Papa John’s... because their pizza is crap. The only good thing I can say about their pizza is that it’s easy on the wallet. But as pizza, it’s barely edible crap. Like all the ultra-cheep pizza chains (Pizza Hut, Dominos, etc), Papa John’s uses a sort of “cheese” from a company called Leprino Food. Apparently, it meets from bare minimum federal trade commission definition of cheese, but instead of aging cheese for weeks like real cheesemakers, they have some kind of process for transforming milk into a finished sort of cheese in a few hours.
Can't come too soon for me. I really need a good laugh these days.
In Backstage Passes & Backstabbing Bastards by Al Kooper (who played organ on Bringing It All Back Home and albums by Jimi Hendrix and more plus had his own Blood Sweat and Tears group) he was ambushed in NYC by several black men.
While they were beating him and he fell to his knees he laughed inside thinking "Hey, you guys, I'm a lifelong liberal. I have always been on your side. I'm not your enemy." They beat him dropped him after amusing themselves a while.
A few years ago BLM protesters were chanting for the killing of police officers (and some assassin took them up on it).
And there is also the taint of antisemitism among the founders of BLM.
But I guess t-mobile says that there are good people among this extremist group of protesters.
Well buh bye T Mobile. And buh bye MetroPCS.
Somebody the other day was right.
at this point it would be EASIER to keep a permanent thread of who ISNT capitulating
Because they are definitely the minority
Good to see you hope you are well :)
Homofascists run/ruin corporate America
Fascinating to sre the “incels” obey their bosses.

Ew, that sounds like baking things using chemicals rather than an oven.
>>Every company takes T-Mobiles perspective. It speaks volumes that there isnt one company that will openly support Tucker Carlson.
the left is making a list of those who are silent or express dissent

The spreadsheet that shook the theater world: Marie Ciscos Not Speaking Out list
LA Times ^ | June 9, 2020 | Jessica Galt
Marie Cisco was fed up. America was in turmoil, rocked to its core by the brutal killing of George Floydat the knee of a police officer in Minneapolis. Protests against systemic racism and injustice had been raging for five days, and the nations theaters were excruciatingly silent in expressing support. Cisco, a producer who has worked with the New York-based National Black Theatre, the Public Theater, Lee Daniels Entertainment and the Apollo Theater, was not surprised by the crickets coming from these institutions self-professed bastions of liberalism and equality but she felt hurt and angry all the same. So Cisco created a public Google spreadsheet and titled it Theaters Not Speaking Out. It was open for anyone to edit, and it had a simple directive: Add names to this document who have not made a statement against injustices toward black people.
And CBS is giddy that Tucker is losing sponsors for sharing his opinion on an opinion show.
This guy cowered? Youre kidding....
I dont have pay television, but search out Tuckers commentary on other internet media every day. Yes, he has been on fire. An even critical of VP Pence, rightly.
This is like the true incident shown in the movie Winchell. National columnist Walter Winchell refused to back down writing pointedly against the rising power of Hitler. Hitler sent German speaking big goons to beat him up on a cement stairway and kick him. Winchell, through his pain, smiled and laughed later.
“Good. This means I’m getting through to them and hurting them with my words. They care about me.”
Well, the Papa Johns CEO hacks ousted the founder who was conservative
I dumped T-mobile several years ago over some other leftist insanity.
