All workers deserve the right to bargain for good wages, benefits and working conditions including gig workers, Biden tweeted in September. That is why Im pleased the CA Legislature passed AB5. As president, I will enact a federal law to ensure gig workers get the full protections they deserve. He reiterated his support in March.
How about you just let them decide where they will work and for how much they will work for? Oh yeah that is right you know better than the commoners.
I always have to check when I read the headline - The Babylon Bee’s work is so hard these days.
Meaning the Nationwide end of Independent Trucking Companies.
For Christmas, my wife decided to buy me a new long sleeve wool shirt for around the house, shopping at HD, Ace and Walmart before my decades old one came apart.
So we went to the local Wool shirt outlet after lunch. They were very busy. The manager suggested we wait a couple of minutes and their afternoon guy to work at 2 pm.
At 2 pm the guy came in and besides doing a great job fitting me with a great shirt, he entertained us with jokes and an excellent deep singing voice.
As he was ringing up our purchase, I asked if he was a professional re his jokes and singing.
He said yes. He had a worthless degree, and he had entertainment gigs in the evening. He was a singing waiter at lunch, and worked in this store several afternoons.
He was 20 something and enjoying his life. He was afraid that the new California law could destroy his life style.
Once again let me thank the voters of Delaware for enabling the career of this buffoon and his corrupt family.

Repeal the 17th Amendment. The Founding Fathers had it right!
The fewer people work, the more people are dependent on Democrat politicians for a meager livelihood.

I remember when contract (1099) work online teachers I know wailed endlessly about their *employers* treating them like employees, but with no benefits.
They demanded to be made W2 employees.
They entered their contracts as 1099s, its not exactly a bolt from the blue.
I tried to warn them.
Today, if you go to Indeed or Glassdoor and search for remote jobs, you will see that Californians are expressly excluded from eligibility for almost all of the jobs.
Way to go, whiners.
