As I expected, the goal for Sullivan is to turn the Flynn case into an investigation of Trump.

The Judge deliberately overlooking proven malfeasance on the part of prosecutors in the case is abuse of power.

Has Flynn ever stated that he plead guilty under duress? It would seem to me, a non-lawyer, that anything said in court under duress is cause for dismissal.

I emailed a letter to the Associated Press this morning about this article and they have somewhat edited their earlier version... but it is still very misleading. Read the first paragraph in this version and then read the first paragraph I pasted below as well as my letter to their editors.

Ex-judge says push to dismiss Flynn case is ‘abuse of power’

by MICHAEL BALSAMO and COLLEEN LONG Associated Press

Wednesday, June 10th 2020

WASHINGTON (AP) — A former federal judge appointed to review the Justice Department’s motion to dismiss criminal charges against ex-national security Michael Flynn has found that the government’s request should be denied because there is “clear evidence of a gross abuse of prosecutorial power.”

The above paragraph written in this story is so misleading it can only be characterized as a series of bold-faced lies! Retired Judge Gleeson WAS NOT “appointed” to “review” the Justice department’s motion to dismiss, he was invited to make an amicus filing by embattled Judge Emmett Sullivan to make Sullivan’s argument the case should not be dismissed... which Gleeson had already made in a Washington Post op-ed several weeks ago. Judge Sullivan has no authority to “appoint” a former officer of the court to participate in the proceedings and part of the reason a Writ of Mandamus against Judge Sullivan was filed with the Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit in the matter.

Secondly, and contrary to the dishonest assertion made by these writers, there was no “finding” by Gleeson in this matter, only the opinion of a former judge who has no standing in the case whatsoever according to legal precedent. Claiming that an “appointed” judge has “found” something to be true in a “review” of the case against Lieutenant General Michael Flynn is journalistic malpractice and exposes the bias of not only these so-called journalists, but also Associated press for allowing it to be published.

Thirdly, nowhere in this Associated press article is any mention of the facts of the case... which include the government’s concealment of Brady evidence, acknowledgement that the Justice Department had already determined Flynn had done nothing wrong and shouldn’t be under investigation in the first place, discovered notes revealing the FBI was trying to “get’ Michael Flynn to lie so they could charge him or “get him fired”, the missing original FD302... and no mention of the emails between Peter Strzok and Lisa Page as they discussed altering the FD-302 they eventually presented the court. This is called prosecutorial misconduct and should be cause for Strzok, Page and others to be thrown in jail for evidence tampering and obstruction of justice.

Of course, this exhibition of dishonest, partisan bias has already been picked up by several media outlets throughout the country and will be heralded by all the usual suspects in the relentless effort to to smear the Justice Department and the President. That is what you people do, you obviously have no interest in the truth.

President Trump is absolutely right, the media is the enemy of the people. I find you disgusting!
