White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany condemned the “defund the police” movement during a press conference on Monday. In doing so, she named prominent Democratic congresswoman who want to defund the police. Among them, she named Congresswoman and “Biden advisor” Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.). This prompted outrage from AOC, who accused McEnany of betraying a racist impulse.
McEnany “wouldn’t be the first person to mistake a women of color for having a lower position or title than she does, but Kayleigh – in case you haven’t picked up a newspaper in two years, I’m a Congresswoman,” AOC tweeted.
The congresswoman went on to lecture the press secretary about the horrific racist history beyond her supposed sin.
“The [press secretary’s] comment is steeped in a long, hurtful, & horrendous history of stripping women of color of titles and diminishing them to ‘the help.’ Perhaps she isn’t aware that what she did is mired in racist history. If that is the case, I look forward to her apology tomorrow,” AOC added.

But the strange thing is, AOC is factually incorrect in her criticism.
Kayleigh said “congresswomen” such as ....... and listed Rashida Talib and Biden advisor AOC. She said congresswomen plural, meaning that she was identified as a congresswoman in the statement by Kayleigh.
But facts don’t matter as AOC sees a stupid way to score political points. Her followers and minions will never know what was actually said, and they don’t know how to parse language to understand the point I’m making here. So AOC gets to score cheap political points with no pushback as the media reports that AOC was “dissed”.
This is what happens when horse toothed baristas get to thinking they know things.

Oops. I wish Kayleigh would’ve ended her tweet with, “No apologies necessary, Congresswoman. You aren’t the first person to respond to misinformation put out by The Fake News Media.”
She just told AOC to refer to the transcript, in which it’s documented she said “congresswomen.”
The title is a bit dramatic.
But so was AOC going off on her with a derogatory claim, playing the victim.
Maybe she should tear it down.
