I think Trump’s comments are excellent.
It undermines the whole image of ANTIFA being this huge scary threat if goofy 75 year old men are its footsoldiers.

Look for a slow motion detail of his actions and then check his social media.

I am glad to see Trump push back against another false narrative. Also, he is making it clear that he is on the side of law and order.
Oops! Forgot to mention that in the slow motion view the cop could easily have thought the “old” man was reaching for his gun with a phalanx of cops moving up - law-abiding citizens would move out of the way with a riot underway.

He said they were insanely violent but Omars was by far the worst. They were ripping Trump hats and t-shirts off people, starting them on fire and then beating the ever loving sh*t out of them.

Trump’s mouth is never an enemy to him - but it is to his opponents. They’re usually the ones saying his mouth is a problem.
He would not have said it unless he wanted people to begin thinking that it’s true - and he probably knows it is true but doesn’t come out and say it. It’ll stew for a while, people will say his mouth is his own enemy, it’s conspiracy, it’s false... and then it will be found true... about like always
ANTIFA is more sophisticated than you may think.
They tend to use people who don’t fit the typical footsoldier profile (twentysomething skull full o’mush off a campus) to perform support and recon roles. Precisely because they don’t fit the profile.
For example they have been using scouts posing as bicyclists. The guy who was arrested here for planting Molotov cocktails at a protest site was a 52-year old bicycle enthusiast.
I wish he would have added “Moderate Democrats, the radical left is manipulating you.”
When we look back on the last defense of Berlin being 13 year old boys and 75 year old men... we look back with pity and not fear of that fighting force.
